Post-Hysteria Enchantress Eval

Now that the initial freak out over Enchantress seems to have died down, where does she rank for you?

I’ve had fun exploring spells on attack, but there’s a ton to learn and it’s much easier to focus on a few main ones to use. Her damage ramp up feels slowish, but she has enormous utility—if you can tap into it. Not awakened, so I’m not sure how significantly that will affect her attack.

On defense, it seems like players have gotten used to her Simon Says spell callouts. Again, awakened should make that a little tougher, but it’s hard to see her as annoying as meta defenders like Serpent and Bullseye.

All in all, a solid introduction that doesn’t seem to have broken the game on D as much as it first appeared.

Fairly consistently gets me wins when placed as a defender, not 100%, but she does well. Took her into lab to play around and once you get her up and running, she is fairly sustainable. Once Dazzler comes out and she gets the deceleration spell from the synergy, she will be able to handle a ton of different match ups. Memorizing spells is a little bit of a pain, but at least all the ones in her base kit show on the pause menu, just have to remember any synergy granted ones.

My 5* works well in bgs and AW. I also got a lot of rage quits from opponents in BG when facing her.

Exactly this. She’s fine in a vaccum or on neutral nodes but when placed on nodes that prevent players from completing her callouts inbetween specials she’s gonna be broken

This is what I expected with my Enchantress on Node 14 (Unstoppable Heavy) in Plat2. But no, she only got 1 kill. Idk who killed her, but I'm going to assume it was the guy with QS and CapIW on his team that took middle path on section 2.

Fast forward to me taking Enchantress on path 1 node 10 (another problematic node people called out). I died once but got away with 2 ABs. It wasn't a fun fight; a lot of getting hits in when I could, dexing numerous sp1s, and then playing her mini-game just as many times. But I got it done better than expected for first time fighting her in high-level war on a path that I usually don't even do (I was the only one with a best counter).

In BG where the metas aren’t making her hard to intercept or something, she’s easy imo. Still has caught me once or twice but usually fights against her go like this. War is a different case though

RG cooks her either way as long as he gets at least one crit from my experience. The fight I showed I took a ton of hits into my block to bait a heavy and was down to 7 durability but one sp2 still sent her to the shadow realm. He’s actually perfect for her, stun and big sp2 and PB. Don’t even have to bait a special

Yeah that's what I did but I got lucky with prompts (3 purple ones at the start). Went to relic + sp2 and she's down. I had 12 durabilities though.

Red guardian is specifically good as you can nuke her before she even throws a special.
