Major Auto Fight Revamp

I think we can all agree that, while auto fight is a good feature, it could be made better with just a few changes made to it. So here is my list of things I believe they should add in an auto fight revamp update:

1. Auto detect unexplored path in case of a path choice (so we don’t have to choose manually), and flip a coin if all paths are unexplored.

2. Auto use energy refills unless out of refills.

3. Auto replay quest after finishing it.

The reason I made this list specifically is because I feel like everybody has felt that frustration of leaving the game on auto fight, only to come back and find out you were stuck on a path choice the whole time. So I think this auto fight revamp would help the community finish off lower acts much more effectively, which could be otherwise annoying to explore manually.

Thanks!

    (1) YES. SMART-PATH. But also will factor in whether there are drop items along those unexplored segments, ie Revives, Health, Energy Refills. And then if still no difference would randomly (or by quest design programming #’s) take the next unexplored path/segment.

    (2) No. And not needed just to get thru CURRENT run.
In case you didn’t know, you can use an energy refill EVEN BEFORE totally running out of energy and having the refill popup appear.
**If you click on Energy bar at top of screen (that same popup screen appears then), and so long as you are not currently at Max (so even if at 69/70) you can apply another Full Energy (or small) Refill.
So, example, you are at 15 Energy, want to Auto-Play a path, obviously 15 will not do entire path. But don’t want to play until reaching 0 and then have to come back to refill.
So you can apply a refill early (when you first start path), and take it up to 15 + 70 = 85 Energy, and then Auto-Play the path.

    (3) No. otherwise it could potentially (if you take this suggestion to next possible conclusion), do an ENTIRE DIFFICULTY Level of Monthly EQ (or a story ACT), from quest 1 thru to quest 3.2 (or 4.6 for an ACT), and use up every single Revive that is sitting in Stash.

That would well exceed any “HERO USE” or “EQ Completion” Solo Event that may be going on.
Doing a single run at a time is sufficient. Can manage how much energy, or Solo Points, you actually want to do.

I appreciate your thoughtful reply, and I agree with what you say, but they could easily fix all that by adding a toggle system in settings, that lets us toggle certain aspects of auto play on or off depending on which game mode we are playing. However, again I get your point that auto refills and auto replay might not be the best idea. Still I hope they implement smart-path!

My only request is that they speed it up a bit. I use Platinum Pool whenever I can, but why can’t we have that speed as the auto fight default?
