Noticed I’m being Parried a lot more in BGs

Don’t know if it’s just me, but I didn’t get parried this often before hand, if anything it used to seem like a random fluke.

Did u read the ai update they said they made it so they can parry but cant reparry and made it a timer on when they can parry a blocked hit

I keep getting parried dashing in after NF’s sp2. Never happened before, this season it’s been three matches.

I would rather have them add reparry back in than have them mess with special and heavy punishes

This. The AI loves this pattern.

Block, (i hit block then dash back) dash back, block, (i hit block then dash back), dash back, block, continues until they reach the back.

I’ve faced Hulkling quite a few times and he’s the only one that’s quite aggressive.

Yes , that's all they do , especially when they have energy AI taking the match hostage, worse meta I ever played and is all because of the terrible AI

I had a killmonger fight, and he only dashed forward once the whole fight , just slap an infuriate node so the AI let us play the game

Haven’t been parried yet, but I have landed some attacks that I could have sworn were intercepts that didn’t register as such in GC…

Well looks like we’re going to have to get used to being parried more often or so, I feel cheated every time it happens thou lol especially when it’s someone like a bishop with a special 2 waiting for me.

Point noted, it would much simpler for the devs to turn off parry for defenders. I.e: “defender-parry: false;”

Meaning, since they’ve left it turned on. Being Parried was very much intended!

No the AI just stands there menacingly and when you dash in you get parried.

Well, the re-parry issue is now completely fixed because you just get parried the first time. Kabam can now check that issue off their list and resolved. Thank goodness.

Still, removing the stun from the parry for defenders would have taken them 2 seconds…. And would make a lot of players happy.

Not just parry, I got special intercepted a lot more in the last 3 days.

All of the above. Special intercepted 3X in one fight last night, plus punishing specials is a dice roll re: getting parried.

I’m convinced a reliable, consistent AI is beyond their ability to engineer.

Is there a little of the Toad AI in the new model? Sure feels like it.

Dropping a BG fight by less than 750 points when you have to waste 15 seconds dancing around because the defender won’t take the bait and throw his Sp2 is a blast.
