Btw what's the point of this campaign? Y'all just gonna randomly donate points so we hit 1 billion, Or you guys are going to actually change the matchmaking to ensure "perfect match"?

no, it's a charity in Marvel Comics. This is obviously their cover for adding the points.

I wonder if it is adding the points lost when people forfeit a match back into the total. You wouldn't expect it to be so much, but who knows.

They added like 30% of all the points we have scored till now, Which means you're suggesting almost one fourth of all bgs matches end in forfeit, Which is definitely not possiblble imo

So instead of designing the realm events well, you'll just have bailout points put in?

    Why be negative like that
You must be new here. For many posters, crying and complaining is the default mode.

The only negative to this for me personally is I burned some of my elder marks on going over the limit on my second account. Not the end of the world but still sucks. It's weird that only some currency has a cap.

    That's funny.
I got confused after karatemiikes comment.

Because realm events were a dumb idea to begin with, and the point is to tell kabam they should stop doing this and just give us normal objectives again.

People will complain no matter what. Make a challenge, it's too hard. Make it easy, the rewards suck. Require input in a specific party of the game, people don't like it. Encourage us to work together, people refuse to participate because communism or something.

I'll keep playing the game, pushing through the challenges, enjoying the rewards, and doing my part.

I completely agree. It's guaranteed that ANYTHING Kabam decides to do will be met with some form of backlash or complaints from some percent of the player-base. If people are complaining about positive things, then all the rest of us can do is just enjoy what we've been given, and move on.

But it's not working together in a meaningful way. It's just an arbitrary point quota. It's not like working together in real life where there is actual work that actually needs to be done. Realm events add nothing, there's nothing wrong with just doing normal solo events.

or maybe, just maybe, people are complaining because it's a bandaid fix over a problem kabam created themselves unnecessarily .

They weren't dumb, the idea is ok. Now thinking all progression level players should play for the same pool of rewards is dumb.
Lets see, crystal cleansing. Older most likely higher progression players carried the event. BG Realm event, most likely being carried by higher progression players, specially GC players.
Original Crypt event only 1 progression level playing for the same rewards,

Can we have Prof X school for the gifted match that donation as well?

Wakandan Cultural Embasy could get behind a contribution to competitive excellence…

Thank you, Mr Stark, or whoever you are, how generous.

I’m glad they did this. The AI is terrible. Having such a passive AI in this meta is just making fights so frustrating to the point I don’t even want to play BG’s anymore. Think I’ll just kick back now and wait for more donations.

Hope it’s perfect match, but I’m okay with free rewards always

Is Kabam going to run a realm event as part of the banquet event?

How does one contribute ? Want to understand what the original post was. Is it a joke and a random point amount was added, or was something done (like BG eggs) to benefit the community. If it's the latter I'd consider a contribution to help the masses.

And here i was thinking folks played so well in a day that 3 milestones got completed. Now i read this.

Good that we have donations in realm events now so we don't have to put something on BG.

yeah, the “Stark Foundation Contribution” was Kabam nudging our points. a few people chimed in, in case any other “significant Marvel organizations” wanna chip in (Kabam if they decide to nudge it again).

and I think the Defenders could pool together about $48.92 to contribute…
