Elite Bounty Completion Bug

Trying to finish out the Nova path on the elite bounty side event but the path won’t progress to the last spot to finish out and claim the rewards. Just keeps showing disconnected. Anybody else having this issue?

Last node after the fight.
Now 3 separate posts (plus maybe in the original announcement threads as recent comments too.

Weekend, so Mods will not be able to MERGE all these together.
We'll just have to get used to a page full of them most likely for a while.

Well, at least 1 of the top 9 posts is NOT about this issue.

We probably won't know until Monday (unless KarateMike swings by), but it's a fair assumption that they will at least reimburse entries for players that got in but couldn't finish.

I think so too, I'm just sad because I don't have an account wich allows me to one shot these, so losing progresse and revives like this is frustrating...

There was an exploit that some people could do to get infinite rewards, so they took the quest down. I imagine it will hopefully get fixed on Tuesday when they're back in office.

For those wondering, those who couldn't finish the quest, got rewards every single time they tried to finish.

I fully revived twice using a lot of potions plus revives and some units. Will they be reimbursed. I have not touched the 6 star shards which is crazy when I looked hours later.

Read Announcement, particularly about NOT opening rewards that you may have “infinitely” gained while it was bugged (or if opened, NOT upgrading any of the “ill-found” champs).

Will be an easier process to clawback those items/champs, if you have not opened them (or done stuff to them) yet.
Otherwise account may be inactive for a while during that clawback process.

Ok I just chose the Nova mission and noticed it was gone. Glad to know I’m not crazy because I couldn’t find the quest anywhere.

I hope the bounty is still available when the quest comes back. I would hate to miss out on it because Kabam messed up and just hard resets everything.

It was my first time trying to figure out how to merge... so hopefully it worked?

I'm going to copy & paste the recent announcement about the Quest below:

"Greetings Summoner,

The team has identified an issue with the Elite Bounty Side Quest where players were stuck in a continuous loop to the final node, while obtaining unlimited rewards.

Unfortunately, The Collector told me that unlimited rewards just isn’t allowed, so we had to disable the Quest while we investigate the issue.

As of now, we’re hoping to have the Elite Bounty Quest active again by this upcoming Wednesday, and a clawback of excess resources will likely need to happen. In order to make the clawback process as smooth as possible, it’s advised that players avoid opening crystals or upgrading Champions claimed from Crystals gained through this exploit. Complex clawbacks will require temporary Account suspension while the process runs in order to prevent further Account issues.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience, we’ll return with any updates as they are available."

Same, used two boosts, a few revives and healing potions and was to around 40% of Dust when I got kabamed...

Hopefully we won't just get our pass back like "Oops sorry, try again bro!"

The elite quest was showing available until I claimed the elite bounty mission and selected my fight;

a) will I lose the elite bounty entry?
b) can you freeze the challenge/remove the ability for anyone to see this quest so they don't end up in the same situation as me?

As of now, the Elite Bounty Quest should be active again. Investigation into potential clawbacks are still ongoing, so the notion in the previous post about excess resources still stands.

But as of now, the Bounty should be open and working as expected… get to hunting!

As of now, the Elite Bounty Quest should be active again. Investigation into potential clawbacks are still ongoing, so the notion in the previous post about excess resources still stands.

But as of now, the Bounty should be open and working as expected… get to hunting!

Will there be a time frame for the clawback? I know I didn’t have many 6 star shards and now have over 30,000, just so I know what shards I can use to aid my roster by opening. Ha ha frightened to open anything as sounds like it will be a nightmare to correct. Thanks
