PSA - Scrolling Bug Cost me 1500 Units

I debated putting this up here because nobody will believe me, but maybe it will warn others...

Most people know about the scrolling bug, where you have to swipe multiple times in order to scroll down to read nodes, go through your crystals, etc. What I haven't seen anyone mention is that a lot of times when I get annoyed at it and swipe the nodes multiple times before I get it to scroll, my unit store opens, as if I tapped the URHC of the screen. Last night, I went in to clean up some crystals, tried to swipe, nothing happened, so i swiped a few more times and my Scream crystal banner opened and it bought 5 of them. (I assume it was counting when I put my thumb down to swipe up as a tap instead of the swipe?) The extra fun part is that before I could back out, they popped open. So now there is no way to go to Kabam and get my units back because they'll think I'm making this up because I didn't like my pulls.

So to all of you out there that are still reading, make sure to swipe your crystal page from the opposite side of the buttons so this might not happen to you.

Not the same but reading nodes it seems to think I press on it and shows linked nodes and stuff, shame you also had bad pulls too.

You could've not opened the crystals and then submit a ticket to support. Probably could've gotten your units refunded.

Edit: missed the part where they "auto-popped". This seems like it goes way beyond just the scrolling issues.

Contacted support and they didn’t read the ticket.

Thank you for contacting Kabam Support. I understand you wanted to report the control issue you are currently experiencing on your device that cost you Units.

Timing within The Contest is crucial to perform various moves, such as dodging out of an opponent’s attacks, parrying an opponent’s attack, and activating your special abilities at the right time. The “right time” refers to a type of timing that is sometimes called “frame-perfect” timing in the video game industry. To be performed correctly, frame-perfect moves and abilities must be accomplished within one second during the required time frame, and they may not be easy to accomplish if The Contest is not running smoothly on your device.

Sometimes, performance issues can occur that may cause you to experience some lag when battling. We are working hard to ensure that the game’s performance is as strong and steady as possible. However, game performance can also be impacted by the device used to play the game, and so we could use your help to ensure that your device’s game performance is consistently high quality.

If you are having issues with the timing of your attacks or defensive moves, we recommend that you first attempt the troubleshooting steps listed below to help resolve any performance issues which may be occurring:

Just sounds like you bought 5 crystals and not happy with the results so you’re using the scrolling issue as an excuse

Wish that was the case. Unfortunately, it’s not. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to anyone else, so I say again, scroll through crystals with your left so you don’t get a phantom tap anywhere you don’t want one.

It sounds like a dream sequence, where you had 1500 more units than in reality.
