KABAM what is up with the alliance matchmaking??!!

I can’t even get the loyalty rewards milestones in the new event because every alliance war is practically a no show. As in guaranteed win…that I’m not complaining about, but there are literally no defenders. If another alliance doesn’t have any defenders placed, they shouldn’t be enlisted in war. I know we are a fresh alliance that was recently created but out of the 15 or so (maybe more) wars we’ve had, they’ve been no shows, and I can’t get the loyalty from the new event if there’s no defenders to take out…seems a bit poorly designed in the matchmaking aspect

It's probably just how far down you guys are. 3 BGs gives you a better chance, but down in the low tiers it is nothing but dysfunctional and non-communicating alliances. There is also the possibility that you're facing a lot of alliances that set their matchmaking up and overtime everyone left or stopped playing. Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait until you probably get a few tiers higher up.

Well that just sucks🤣. What sucks is I’m a paragon player and I just wanted the dang loyalty but looks like that’s a bust

You could try switching to two BGs. Gives you a chance to run into AW-optional alliances that may actually play.

Only other one I saw that you'd probably miss out on is SOLO AW POINTS EVENT, 2nd to last Milestone, some Loyalty there, but not much. That, yes, not having to defeat defenders limits the amount of Solo Event Points you could get.

Most I thought should be a War Reward itself (Win vs Loss), and Season Reward, both of which shouldn’t be affected by exploring an Empty Map, vs exploring a Fully Defender Map.

(edit) or do you mean Summoner Engagement Alliance Event. Which does include some points for defeating AW opponents, and does have some Loyalty in Milestones.
But there are plenty of other ways to get Points for that Event.

It would be nice if Kabam could make it that X number of players (10 maybe) have to place defense and if that number isn’t reached then that alliance gets ignored during the matchmaking process.

Since the name of the objective is Deadpool Wants You in Alliance War, maybe the milestones should be to participate in X amount of wars ( place defense, move on attack) and not have it tied to the number of defenders defeated.

My alliance is now on our sixth war wherein only one summoner has participated for our opposition. That’s five fights for the 15-20 of us that are playing the mode.

Sometimes you get a sparse map, and then you get a map like my alliance is playing now: 50% Doom, 30 Bullseye, 20% assorted Enchantress, WeaponX & Thing
