  To answer your point No, but i do sympathise on the subject of AI, unfortunately you were stung by the hit into block countered by special.
  
  At 4:05 the A.I goes into block stance (which at this moment most players especially over the years would dash to hit block to encourage special throw) then midway through your dash the Defender comes out of the stance to SP2 you mid run - not nice. This is may or may not be looked into as part of the AI assessments going on. its a layer of unpleasantness for players to deal with currently.
