  Its not a bug, defender only takes crit damage.

  It's not a bug. Defenders can't take damage from anything but a critical hit, so he doesn't take damage from that degen during his second life.

  Not seeing any screenshots here, but either way it’s not a bug. Crit me with your best shot. No damage from anything except critical hits. Nick’s second life damage isn’t a critical hit, so no damage.

  Not a bug but I would have to agree about not being a fan of the interaction. As well as the pause button being available on nicks first life. That’s not how his animations and mechanics are meant to be played out. SURELY, KABAM thought about these. HOWEVER, the actual real bug was him actually ticking damage in a few matches that I played before since it’s not supposed to happen. That’s why when this same exact thing happened to me I was super confused.

  Well, now that makes sense that whenever I saw Nick in my opponent's selection screen, they chose him and as an owner of 6r5A NF, I kept wondering he had some abilities to resist guaranteed crit rate or what, lol. Then I just fought him with either Juggs or Domino and didn't realize his second life didn't degenerate.
