It wasn't a lie, the Stark Foundation's total donation was 200,000,000 points. The community's whining is predictable enough I took a screenshot yesterday before the event ended.

How come I have contributed 5200 points in this competition & my rank is 67,991. Rich contributed 5,100 points & his rank is 27k. How's my rank is low even after contributing 100 points more.
Many of us never would’ve grinded the 5000 without the “assurance” the Titan would be reached. Even if they donated 200mil and we hit 1.2bil+, the “donation” was necessary early in the process to create buy-in for the coming grind.

I have no idea why players are whining about stretch milestones or staff is badmouthing the community though. This was a positive experience all around.
This community does whine. A lot. About everything. When I see Kabam Crashed post a comment I see John talking and not Kabam. This is a forum and I love that the devs participate too!
Not even Stark with the infinity gauntlet is saving us at this point.

It would be an omnipotent force vs an unconquerable fail, with a snap of the fingers, instead of the banquet being saved, it would open a massive black hole and take us all to a dark dimension.
Inside this dimension we would discover masteries 2.0 and bases as well as ghost of Brian Grants sacrificed Eggs.. oh and our “permanent” gifting badges.
But as far as the Realm event Isophyne milestone go, I think we would reach it, as I think anyone that want to spend big, they are waiting for the Odin offers sometime soon I hear.
Imagine if the whales don't get the Isophyne dupe....think about that for a minute....how bad will their economy fall if they lose the whales....
We'll hit it, consider that the mini-whales combined spend probably out weighs the big whales...with the issues that happened on this event and force feedback they are facing...in the end of the day its a business, they really won't care if they please the masses because the masses can be bought with a few 7 star crystals...the economy is the key for them.
Those of us that went over 23,5K will most likely see a hit in the insane milestone. Stark Foundation or Adjustment Bureau will step in, really doesn't matter....I really see no fix for what is already done and 3 7stars is barely interesting unless you're TB or below...
The members talking about how great the event is are either lower tier players or shills, so don't react, that's what they are looking for. (or they just enjoy kissing A*%.)
But after playing this game for 10 years, and all the ups and downs, they'll fix it somehow, they always do. The question is how easy would it be to placate the masses, in all honesty, we can all be bought, its just a matter of how much and everyones price will be different.
