I own Rank 3 Venom and Rank 2 Hyperion... hyperion is RNG reliant and Venom relies on 6-star venom relic
and the opponent not to be bleed immune.
Non of this disadvantages apply to Serpent. Period.

But serpent is not the fastest among them. Sure serpent is good for questing and incursions but for bgs he is mainly a defender.

I agree that Hype/Venom have higher damage output, but I will take Serpent's tankiness and miss&evade counter over these two any day. I am NOT saying Venom/Hype are worse, I just prefer Serpent. It's a matter of personal preferrence

I have a rank 3 venom but I still love Hyperion more. I just pulled Hyperion recently so once I awaken him, he's my next rank 3 cosmic for sure, unless I can pull and dupe Angela or dupe my CCM. Those three are my favourite cosmic champs to use. I'm not saying they are the best but I like their simple playstyle. Simple like me.

Hype having the best power gain in the game gives him the utility edge over Venom, back when i first started the game ages ago, i used this to cheese difficult nodes in act 6 and Variants. There was a stun immune with evade variant boss that sp1 spam just melted

Both have RNG but Hype is more reliant on it, so Venom is more consistent damage wise. But in terms of versatility Hype takes more matchups in BGs i feel. If he gets the furies up, he can even take Maestro

Venom actually is a great maestro counter. The nullify on sp1 is great utility I've taken many maestros with venom.

That’s true. The gamora relic does negate some rng for hype but he cooks way more matchups than venom cause he’s not reliant on dot. Idk, I feel like venom needs 5/5 DW and the relic to really shine (and his buff rng does speed him up or slow him down just like hype)
