It's not going against his father's wishes and more so that he demanded that he gets all the things he'll inherit from his father before the right age he'll acquire them and his dad agreed, but he returned due to wasting it all and ending up homeless for it.
I love this story so much. This is the story my dad told me to show a father's love and to assure me that he'll always forgive every of my wrongdoings.
