EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE CONCLUDED

The Team has identified a fix for the recent Catalyst Offer issue.

Summoners who purchased this offer have been temporarily locked out of the Contest to Clawback any Catalysts bought/used while active, and ensure previously owned resources remain intact.
They will be unlocked once this process is complete, and no further action will be taken on their Accounts - along with a compensation package to those affected for the inconvenience.

Doing this allows us to bring the Game back up for everyone else.

We've removed the affected offer so we can decide later whether or not to bring it back after it's been fixed.
Additionally, all summoners can expect a general compensation package due to this Emergency Maintenance interrupting their play session.

    @arifin74 no matchmaking is based on your rank on the leaderboard so basically points and deaths. War rating is a secondary factor. The exploit is real. There is no point in discussing this you can see it ingame.

    No it’s not. Alliances in the same region on the leaderboard face each other. P2 ally member facing 3 masters ally in a row here.

    They saw we couldn’t beat them so eased up on item use too. Double win. Hope this is any different from shelling, I don’t know.

    Every one of these alliances should be penalized but lots of big names play in those alliances; nothing will happen.

    Can't agree with this.
    Players got the choice to not fight the war.
    And that created problems but its 100% on kabam.

    It's shameful after so many years of faild AW seasons and random war bugs, They still haven't developed a method to reset war ratings or make a single war not count with a press of a button.

    I'm not saying it's an easy task to remove points from every single allince in the leaderboards. But they had the knowledge of this exact issue for years. Could've acted on it.

    But Kabam acted quickly on BGs to point out there will be consequences. I'm not sure how much it's implemented, but they did speak out. Now, AW is a different scenario, but like you said, this has been going on for years, they still haven't figured out something to deter people from tanking. To me that is hypocrisy to say the war doesn't count and do 0 fights. The leaderboard would look different between doing 0 war fights and 40% revive war. Those alliances would not be that low on the leaderboard. They know it and Kabam knows it. Selfishly, I'm happy cause we have a decent chance of getting into top 20 masters since those alliances are further away from us on the leaderboard, so higher chance of winning our remaining matches. But I feel for those lower alliances.

    How's about, instead of deducting points from war 4, kabam take the average difference between a win and a loss (when playing normally - perhaps based on war 3) and add those points to every alliance that lost war 4. That way winner aren't penalised, losers get there points back and those that didn't play at all do not recoup everything and don't move so far up the leaderboard
