BUT what hacks and buffs needed in order to make it plain smooth & fun ?

    Sinister doesn't need tides of combat, but it's nice.
    Just get three mystic persistent charges and one of the new heal buffs. He works well with any of them. You can easily chain you sp2 to atun lock.

    I've used him with all three heal hacks (heal when heal blocked, heal with non damaging debuff, and heal with special attack). All three worked well.

    Draining degen for sinister. He will pause those potent degen debuffs as well. My r4 ascended sinister dealt 40k per tick via those degens, and he paused it. Ramp him up kn mystic champs.

    For Silk it's Tides of Combat and Toxic Siphon, as said above - but also the Stun + 50% minor buff is hugely helpful because then you can chain combos together as the stun from the heavy lasts long enough for you to dash back in - so unless you mess up or they're somehow able to shorten or purge the stun, you can just perma-combo them. It's hilarous.

    Just be wary of certain nodes that give them debuff immune for 10 sec, encountered a few fights so just have to wait out or normal basic attacks until it passes

    For me red skull and Mr sinister are the best champs with draining degeneration.

    I’ve been wondering this as well. I have started dozens of runs in Saga and Sector 5/6 and have not run into it even once
