For some reason the season timer overlaps with pre-season nowadays. It's a pre-season war with the updated tactics for the coming season.

@KabamDORK Can you confirm with the team this war is not counted?
pretty sure it is not as its Sugarpill/decay tactic.. but overlaping timers are confusing.

since the war ends during the off-season, it shouldn't affect anything war-ranking wise *crosses fingers*. would be great to have some confirmation from the game team though, since I'd hate to have my off-season rating affected by an off-season war just because it started during the previous season.

Same thing happened after last season and nothing that shouldn't have been impacted was. It'll be fine.

You can confirm by looking in the war room and seeing the +/-0 war rating based on the outcome.

It wont be counted as it finishes after season fully ends

There's no need for confirmation that this war will NOT be part of the Season still.
There are 12 wars (4 weeks) of wars in each season (**except upcoming one because of holidays). And always the 1 day off being Tues. to Wed. each week.

However, this overlap does evidently present a problem for alliances that are configured to “SKIP THE OFF-SEASON”.

Below quote (post) from someone who’s alliance was assigned a war this 1st war of off-season, when they should NOT have had a war (not enlisted for off-season).
