Valiant, here I come.

Unlike my previous progressions, I'm at a fairly better spot this time. Only 1 more r3 required, 1st one being Guardian. I was planning to take Hulk to rank 3 purely because of how much I use him. But then someone decided to surprise me today.

Until yesterday, the Cosmics I had were Aarkus, Terrax and Corvus. All good champions but something in me just didn't want to rank them just yet. Yesterday I happened to pull Sersi, whom I actually like playing with. I was considering taking her to rank 2, and eventually r3 based on how much I use her, but yeah, Bill happened. Bill so good, Bill crazy damage, Bill RAAHHHHH.

Anyways, this is what I'm working with for 7 stars. Guardian my only rank 3, and my rank 2's.

Science.

Skill.

Mutant.

Cosmic.

Tech.

Mystic.

T6CC stash.

I'm almost there to rank Hulk, just have to get my last frags of T4A, few T6B and T3A and then T5CC, which I plan on buying using Glory, Battlegrounds and if really necessary, the Loyalty store.

But any insights would really be appreciated. I'm willing to consider, even though it's a Valiant rank up.

PS: What would be the quickest way to a Titan? I'm almost done exploring 9.1 (Only 2 paths in 3rd quest remains).

I'm across the half way mark with Act 8 exp. Done with 8.3 and 4, finished 3 quests in 8.1 but then realized I could just explore Act 9 and get Valiant.

I didn't think I had a roster sufficient for Crucible. Does it have a fixed Titan pool?

I discussed with my Ally and they seemed to suggest Hulk over Bill as well. I know how strong he is, but any specific reason why though?

Okay guys I've decided to take Hulk to r3. Who should be my next priority? I get 3 T6CC for exploring 9.1 so I thought this would help me cruise quicker to that.

Edit: Which 7 star would be the best bet for me from the selector?

Easier to use, and best nuke in general. And he is so usefull with the most mystics defenders and in especial missions as the last SOS gaunlet.

Hulk can stun opponents for quite a while where most will get KO or have made a big dent to their health pool. Titania can tank special 3s with her Haymaker as well as her own special 3.
I have seen Bill do crazy damage but I have opted to rank 2 Gladiator for his cheese potential. Can you let me know what rotation to use for Bill?

I won't comment on the Hulk vs Bill question, but one reason I r3'd my Hulk personally is that one of his playstyles is to completely stun-lock the opponent. That's an amazing way to play him in Battlegrounds for example since the health pool is low enough that it usually works, but the thing is - you really need to nuke the opponent down before that stun lock ends. You're most likely going to push them to three bars of power during the stun lock so if it ends and you haven't defeated them yet, you're probably going to have to eat an SP3. As such, I reckoned that ranking up as far as I could would increase my chances of finishing my fights as quickly as I needed to.

    Haven't regreted the rank-up since.

Yes, unduped. But I don't mind, I took Guardian unduped, they have immense damage to compensate for the temporary missing utility. Picked mystic from the selectors hoping for Juggernaut, Chavez or Wiccan, but got

My only r2 mystic, and I totally like this. Power gain, and Fear at start. Very happy. Bill is now r2, my god his damage is bonkers.

This was the least struggle I've had to get to a title since a long time.

    1. Ideally you want to preserve the Shock passives, so avoiding a combo starting with Medium would be preferrable.

    2. Reach over 2 bars of power in the same way, bait out specials from opponent, charge heavy until you have 5 intensify buffs and cancel into SP2. (People are slightly cautious about intercepting, but I would like to highlight if you haven't used a heavy until then/no unstoppable cooldown, you will have your unstoppable during heavy, so if the opponent strikes you, you can heavy into SP2).

    3. Now, you would have refreshed the shocks, have an Energize buff, 5 Intensify buffs along with a Buff pause with a 20 hit counter (all buffs are paused until 20 hits are exchanged in overall, blocked hits don't count), and now you want to do combos starting with Mediums. While over a bar of power, time your SP1's so that your shocks expire during your special, this brings out most damage due to increased burst, and all your buffs acting on it is just madness ATP.

    4. If that hasn't killed them, go for another SP1. You can comfortably use 2 SP1's without the buff pause expiring as the SP2 also gives a Energize buff.

5.IMPORTANT: THOR RELIC: Increases Buff potency by 25%. That's just crazy man.

When dealing with someone who's Shock immune, try using the SP3, it gives a Resonance buff and it deals burst damage on basic hits. Shock immunes and High energy resist champions would hamper his damage. The Fury from his SP1 is still very strong though.
