Give Whales the NEXT progression title already…

I now know players who have 31 Rank 3’s… I only have 10. HOW ARE WE ARE BOTH VALIANT. Their rosters are far beyond Valiant at this point. There should be something that separates accounts with this big of a progression gap.

P.s… I guess i’ll have to face ENTIRE BG’s DECKS OF RANK 3’s from now on… can’t wait lol.

I have 11 r3, and only spend when they have those platinum passes or wherever they are called with a new champ at the end of three months.

And I have no problem with bigger spenders having way more r3 than me. Keeps the game free for most players.

As of today, I will have 16 r3's as a f2play. If you have the units, this cyberweekend is incredible. However, I do think it's time for r4's and a new progression title. I explored Necropolis and became valiant the week it came out, and I only had a r2 photon at the time. The games come a long time in one year. With 16 r3's, you'd expect it to be time for r4's.

The last sentence coupled with the intro/title did, especially with the all caps in the title and body of the response.But yes, I'd say we are all at the same level.

I carried someone in incursions sector 7 (I don't remember if it was a sign up or a random global person) who had way more r3 than me. When I asked why I was carrying them, they said that they spend money and aren't very good. They also said that they spent over 2000 revives (they didn't care eventually of keeping track and said that since it was helping the road to the crypt, they just kept pushing). They couldn't get past zone 6 without me and couldn't take down the linked degen nodes.

And incursions would be way harder to brute force than necro since the reviews are smaller and you have to know which hacks to choose for your champs.

So yes, I'd say we are the same as some (and maybe most compared to what I've seen) spenders.

Agreed. We will definitely see the next progressions level in 2025 (hoping not until 9.3), but a completed current progression would be great before moving on. New EQ content, sigil store update, more reward separation from Paragon...would all be nice.

if you think the difference between 10 R3 and 31 R3 is an entire progression tier, then what happens when we have players with 60 R3, or 120 R3? The lowest Paragons have three 6* R4s. The highest could have a hundred R4s or dozens of R5s. How are they all in the same progression tier?

We have nine progression tiers to cover everyone from someone who just started and has a couple 3* champs to players with a hundred R3s. If we accede to every player who thinks someone with a roster a bit stronger than them should be in a different progression tier the game would have a thousand of them. That’s impractical. The game is not going to make fine tuned customized content, rewards, and offers for each individual player.

More importantly, the very top progression tier is always going to have this issue, because while every other progression tier covers a specific range of players, the top tier is always going to have to cover an unlimited range from the top of the second highest tier to infinity. Get used to it, because the game is not going to make eight progression tiers to cover the bottom 95% of all players and a whole bunch of them to split up the top 5% into tiny little slices. They aren’t going to make a whole new progression tier just to cover the biggest rosters in the highest progression tier.

Besides, when you say “there should be something that separates accounts with this big of a progression gap” first of all, there is no progression gap. I assume you mean roster gap. And why should there be something to separate accounts with that roster gap? What do you expect to gain from them being separated from you into a higher progression tier? What difference would it make, except to them? Making a new progression tier for the strongest roster players would require the devs to make rewards for them and content for them and new chase items for them and probably burn up the rarity ladder faster for them. What difference would that make for you, except that you’d fall behind them even more than you do now?

Those guys are *constrained* by being in Valiant. If they were in a higher tier, they would be getting more rewards and higher rewards than they do now. They’d have even stronger rosters, and growing them even faster. Everyone three times stronger than you now would become ten times stronger in relatively short order. How does that improve anything in the game?

it comes in bunches during the deal days but i also think the true whales double up on the the daily offers (i think that's possible, right?) from ingame and kabam's webstore. i think you can even start buying daily deals from lower progression levels for extra stamps too. it really adds up.

10 R3s, soon 11, 25 x 200 sig R5As…the moment you can fill up an entire BG deck with just R3s or 200 sig R5As, you might lose a bit of drive. At least that's how I feel atm. I don't care that much anymore.

The whales are only a problem for those competing in the top 1%, and that's not 99% of us.

Free2play players also can have over 20+ r3 if they play properly and active. It is not magic

Most likely we will get a new title after act 9 completion, or another piece of everest content comes out
