Can somebody kindly inform me of why my January new champ "leak" post got deleted?

To be fair, while I personally would have thought it's obvious to not post leaks on the official kabam forums, I don't actually see anything in the TOS for forums.

Nor actual MCOC TOS. But I also am not reading all of the official MCOC TOS.

Data mining is explicitly listed in the game TOS. But maybe not disseminating information gathered by data miners.

That's what I was referring to. Thanks.

I believe (redacted name), the usual leaker's acc, was banned. Maybe he started a new account to find leaks?

Leaks are entertaining, but dont share it on kabam forums and explain them to stay silent.

So was that why that person had to “borrow” his teammates/friends accounts, to access BETA for “research” or whatever they claimed it was for (which, funny, they still try to claim that is no big deal, like simply jaywalking, haha)

Or was their's not banned until afterward (when the accounts they borrowed were also banned) ?
(*notice, not mentioning anyone's name here)

That's always the difficulty with the “News/Press” for example, they aren’t the ones who actually break the law by stealing the info to begin with. They are just re-distributing the info which has already been leaked (even though the leak is oftentimes directly given to Press), can they also be held responsible as well ??

(Ie, someone breaks into company servers and steals usernames/passwords, then gives it all to WikiLeaks, which then proceeds to publish them. Did WikiLeaks also break a law ?? Probably)

We get 2champs every month.. a more surprising leak would be " No new champion next month" JUST bug fixes.

I’d be so hype for this leak! 🤯

    (nice try)

*not you Roger’s, but yes, now I remember it was about PC, but still had access to those other people's accounts to do whatever with.

Happy to inform - leaks are not allowed here.

Many players don't want upcoming content to be spoiled for them before they get the chance to be announced by the hard-working people who spent countless hours building them.

I like ur name, lol 😆

I have a feeling Kabam are going to tease one of the January 2025 champs in tonight's Twitch live stream.
