Blatant cheating in BG and discussion of the consequences

This is just terrible. I spend resources and time climbing the ladder of GC only to be knocked back down by blatant cheating. There is no way their r1 unawakened white tiger beat my r2 void in this gc meta, in 20 seconds, with a class disadvantage, and only 25 hits with the max hit being only 4,576.
But now due to the way BG works I lose out on the points I would have gotten if this person played fair. I also now lose 14 of the points I already had. Additionally, I would need to win 2 more matches to get back to where I was which incurs the risk of going down even further.
I was genuinely planning to stop after this fight because it would have put me in Arcane 3 or at the very least gamma 1. And now I may have lost the resources I would have gotten if I stayed where I was.
Sure Kabam can just ban this player but we as players won't be getting compensation for things like this.

Last BG season, idk who it was? Msd or someone but he got placed in celestial but couldn't open a single 7* crystal from rewards, like what?

Relic rewards are not REWARDS !!!
Something which you abandoned from 2 years can not be considered as rewards.
And let's just imagine relic rewards are ok, but other than 4k 6* relic shards, I don't even know what are those other 5 things? Like what? It's just slap in the face 🖐️😓🫲

People are waiting for store update, So holding onto trophy tokens is advised.
As soon as the shards and catalysts rewards get updated. The flux of players will be back fighting for top rewards. Not me tho. I'm done with the pushy push grind.
It's pretty chill atm for eveyeone, only the usual grinders are grinding, but they grind anyway.
Stopped caring about rank rewards for many months. Played for 2 hours today, (first time I played a single game outside objectives) surprisingly hit Q1 and its enough. I don't even push anymore, and there are plenty like me who have stopped pushing higher.

Secondly, forums are not the platform to report cheating.
The only way to report is via in-game button and via support ticket.

Not ignoring your post or calling it a waste either. But we see these threads frequently towards the end of each season.
What I do appreciate is how effectively support bans them. The team cannot ban players on a whim or from a forum post. They have to check and confirm and only then the ban happens, which takes some time.
Cheaters gonna cheat. Sad but true.
And all we can do is hope that the team will take appropriate action against the the cheaters.
