Can somebody plz explain what beeper debuff does/doesn’t do!! I’ve seen it too many times in quest and never seen a Kabam explanation of what it actually does!! Maybe did and missed?? Also on BW relic. Just says “100% chance to do nothing? When it fails it BEEPS?” Don’t know why they can’t just fully say what it does in the description?!?! Really says nothing anywhere I’ve seen. Help plz. Thx ppl

    Useful for champs that reduce ability accuracy
    For example, OG black widow reduces ability accuracy by 80% I think, and the relic will give her a precision effect each time an enemy ability fails to trigger

    By itself, that's just a cosmetic ability; and may sound a bit stupid.

    However: it means that the opponent now has an ability which can fail.

    If the attacker can punish ability failure (like Black Cat or BWDO inflicting Sabotage damage), then the Beeper debuff is an ability that can fail every time they get hit.

    A lot of champions don't have intrinsic abilities that happen when you hit them; so there's nothing for Sabotage to punish; so no damage gets inflicted.

    Against these opponents, the Beeper debuff gives them an 'ability' which can fail; giving the Attacker something for Sabotage to punish, and inflict a burst of damage.

    Just to make it crystal clear to OP since Magrailothos did such a good write up, the beeper debuff only shows up when you use the striker ability of the black widow relic. If you have that attached to some skill champion, then that would be why you're seeing it everywhere.
