Oh c‘mon!
Deadpool was great and now got nerfed immediately.
I think it doesn’t matter if his dmg wasn’t intentional like it was, but he was released and that’s the base on which I decided to rank him…

Now his dmg is gone, at least a huge chunk of it.
So I think it’s fair to give rank down tickets

He wasn’t nerfed, he was fixed. His basic attacks were doing bleed on every hit (while daunted was up) when it is explicitly stated to have a cooldown of every 4 seconds. This wasn’t a nerf, he just launched bugged and now he’s fixed.

You’re right, nothing ever changes when being added to a live server of a ten year old mobile game. Obviously this is a conspiracy (that lasted a couple hours) to get players to invest resources into a 6* champion even though the 7* version is coming out in like ten days. This is definitely what is happening.

He’s still amazing… this had 0 impact on his sp2 to sp1 rotation which is responsible for 95% of the damage glow up

It’s amazing how much this community has become conditioned to accept mistakes as regular occurrences. This is a champ buff they have hyped for months and it’s released as broken? Crazy. I am normally very skeptical of rank down ticket demands but this feels particularly bush league. If someone ranked him in the last 24 hours because they were thrilled with the way his rework performed upon release, give them a break and let them unwind the rank up. Don’t punish players who get excited about new champs and who respond immediately to all the hype that has been created for the release.

If someone is upset they no longer do an extra 20k damage during combo when his sp1 already does almost 300k damage, then idk what to tell them.

Do you not think that's the goal? He got fixed within hours of release. Kabam would love to never have a bug happen at an update, but they do happen. They are unintentional, and they do get fixed as soon as they can. He wasn't broken OP and heavily nerfed, so I really don't think something as minor as this would call for rank down gems. I'd rather have kabam dedicate that time to other things of more importance.

What amazes me is there are people that still think the way you do. You can read in his kit about the bleeds. You saw it on the live stream, there's a post on the official website and you still think Kabam is to blame if a player ranks a champ based off of a bug?

It's the whole Mutant Treasure Island thing all over again. You know you can't run the quest over but a bug/glitch allow you to so you do it and then surprised when you get in trouble. At what point do you hold the community accountable for their own actions?

And why mention "hype"? We didn't know who was getting the buffs until the livestreams. It was clearly shown in the live stream how DPX worked. His buff works exactly how the advertised it to work.

You could have made the point (and been right) without radically minimizing or being disingenuous about the difference in damage. It's not just 20k.

1000% agree. I emailed kabam about this and after. 3 days I just r3ceived a generic response about not able to rank down my characters after I made a mistake. I did not make a mistake. I very intentionally ranked up my Deadpool to r5 following the buff because of the damage, which was nerved 2 days later. This is a bug on your end, Kabam, yet I had to sacrifice my r5 rank up gem because of it? I paid good money for that gem and now have taken away the product that I purchased. I believe the term for that is bait and switch.

Please offer a rank down gem.

He literally was fixed in a few hours. You can see the post announcing the fix still up, released on the day of the update when the buff went live.

It's not bait and switch. You got your info from a third party. If you'd bother to read his kit and watch the deep dive, you'd know. You based your decision off a YouTuber who also didn't do their due diligence.
