Aegon?

As someone who hasn't run Necropolis yet (currently just 1 7r3 away from Valiant), should I use my generic awakening gem and sig stones on Aegon and rank him up, or save the gem for someone like my new Nimrod, Fantman, Serpent, etc.?

    Aegon is still the easiest Necropolis counter, although not the cheapest one - you'll definitely burn through revives - but if you're not feeling confident with Kate Bishop or Wong then go for it with Aegon.

    I don't have Kate or Wong, so atm Aegon seems to be my best bet.

    act in haste, repent in leisure, bro, but good luck with it.
    also, where you’re at 6* gems and stones are easy to source, with the full 7* push in game. once you get Valiant you’ll easily start replacing any materials spent, except units…
