Summoner’s market

The 10,000 unit deal looks good and I was seriously thinking about getting it but why is it only available through the game. What is the point of the summoners market when only half of the offers are offered there? The reason I ask is because I’m part of a family sharing plan for Apple and 50% of the time I need to ask for a verification code before I can make a purchase and my parents aren’t always available. I am well over 18 and make my own money, sometimes it’s just easier to use my Apple Pay on the summoners market rather than buying a gift card every time I’d like to make a purchase and ask for a verification code for my purchase to go through. I really hope kabam changes this, any thoughts?

I might be incorrect, but I think it is because of the type of purchase it is. Look at what is in the market. Everything on there is purchase and claim. Now look at what's in the unit store that isn't in the market. Subscriptions and cards. Things that affect accounts over a period of time and are a little more complicated. My guess is that it is not as easy to program these types of things from an outside source as it is to program click-and-claim, one-and-done purchases. They get attached to your account rather than just sent to it.

Only one thing to keep in mind

    Are you on level 60?

Only high level Summoners will receive 10000 units

@peixemacaco Yes, unlike half of the community I read before I purchase something

The webstore is built and managed by xSolla and it has completely separate limitations and issues from the in-game store. I’m sure that in a perfect world Kabam would offer everything in both places, but there are practical limitations involved in doing so.

In the meantime, as far as I am aware that offer is intended to be available indefinitely, and the rewards within it are rewards no one can really earn yet. It will likely be months before anyone can earn any of those rewards, and a year or more before anyone can earn all of those rewards, and they award retroactively. Which is to say, if you reach level 65 and then buy that offer, my understanding is you will get all the units from levels 61 through 65 immediately. So no rush on that one.

If you are actually over 18 and have your own way to pay for things, then technically there’s a workaround here. Make your own iTunes account, attach a credit card to it, and then when you want to purchase something in the game log into that account to make the purchase, then log back into your normal family sharing account (assuming you still want to do that). Or alternatively, ask your parents to turn off “Ask to purchase” for your account.

If you are indeed over 18, then having these conversations with your parents is one of those adulting things you’ll have to get used to doing.
