    Yellowjacket is useable, but suffers from the fact that there are always better options for pretty much anything he does. Better Power Sting champs, better Slow champs, better Heal reversal/Power control champs, etc

    Having said that, he's a bit of a Swiss-army knife champion; because his utility is actually really broad -

    • Huge Energy resistance and good Physical resistance
    • Tanks Unblockable hits with -70% damage
    • Access to Slow via self-synergy
    • Really effective passive regeneration mitigation; and heal reversal with Petrify on SP2.
    • Power Stings do okay damage; they just look a bit poor when compared to Ham's.
    • Has an "Overload" phase where he inflicts damage on every hit, through block and when struck - and the damage scales with nodes, so if he's defending and you can't counter it, it's a decent stall mechanic.
    His main drawback is really the damage: it's not terrible, but it's far too low to compete in the (stacked) Science class.

    His second drawback is defender AI - if the opponent won't throw specials when carrying a Power Sting, he misses a lot of damage.

    Fortunately, there's an in-game fix for that second issue: Any Ant-Man relic of 4* or higher gives Yellowjacket a Taunt mechanic, and slightly extends his Power Stings. It's by far the most effective relic for him.

    He's also got decent synergies with champions like Kingpin, Mole Man,

    How to improve him? Yellowjacket would be a good candidate for a small tune-up; which seems less pie-in-the-sky since re-buffs have now happened for DPX, as well as Gamora.

    Nuclear Core
    Yellowjacket starts the match with an additional +20 Nuclear Core charge when defending; or in Battlegrounds.

    Stinger attacks
    Yellowjacket uses his shoulder-mounted stingers on Medium attacks, and the first hit of his Heavy attack.
    Stinger attacks ignore positive armour and critical resistance. For each Power Sting on the opponent, stinger hits inflict a burst of XXX Direct Damage, scaling with Nuclear Core charge.

    Aside from a damage boost, basically, everything needs to last longer:
    • Increase the duration of Slow
    • Increase the duration of Petrify (could be sig-dependent)
    • Increase the duration of Meltdown with either a base duration increase, or by adding some kind of Pause mechanic (e.g. inflicting a Power Sting Pauses Meltdown for 4.0s)
