Necropolis Exploration Advice

Hey, everyone.

I'm finally thinking about necropolis exploration. I was waiting until I pulled Aegon before deciding (got him today and instantly took him to r5, ascended him, awakened him, and sigged him up). I'm focusing now on building up my units and potions. I'm also going to watch a few of the guides/attempts by others before jumping in. Aegon and Kate will both be max sig when the BG store resets on Monday, Shuri is R3 (unawakened), and Juggs is R2 (awakened).

I'm wondering, should I go in with a mixed team (seen above), or commit to one over the other (Aegon with synergies and maybe Juggs vs Kate/Shuri combo with Juggs and Chavez [6r2])? Are there other champs to consider bringing for the left vs right paths (Doom and Abs man are maxed if needed for that airwalker, torch and void are also maxed if needed for Wiccan, Herc and Fury [especially with 2nd life] are also available for damage)?

Whichever way, I would appreciate any helpful advice.

Watch pepe stream of Aegon Necro, that's who I followed.

Aegon can do 100% Necro himself with few help of other heroes, here and there.

    Bit costly tho.

Bring doom for all paths, since he is great for airwalker on the left, and SC on the right. Also works against galan.

As someone that did every path with Aegon (only four non-Aegon fights) I can verify it’s a fun mash and also very resource intensive. Having Kate will help tremendously.

I used Aegon/Proxima/Heimdall on every path and swapped the other two spots as needed. Early on I brought Wiccan for Grandmaster and ended up doing the whole thing with Aegon, so he was later dropped. Same with Doom, brought but ended up not using him. I think I just brought Nick for the damage boost. On paths where other options were needed, I did bring Shuri for a couple of fights (Namor and Attuma) and Sandman for one fight (Diablo). Also used Nimrod against Sauron.

I also explored Necro with Aegon except path 2 where I used kate-shuri team

Aegon was less stressful and had a blast with him but bit costly

I would suggest to decide according to your own inventory but if you decide to go with Aegon then make a team around him which can be Aegon,Heimdal and Proxima, rest 2 can be filled by Doom ( he is good for certain fights on all paths), and Jugs for GM for 4th phase

For path 2 you definitely need Kate/shuri team imo

If you're good with Kate I'd personally go with her, you'll save wayyyy more revives, which it'll make it easier to do numerous runs. I managed to explore everything with a kate-centered team. Although if you prefer aegon can't go wrong with that either

So, second lane done. I like the Kate/Shuri-based team. Eager to do the Titania-Guardian split, but will accumulate a few more resources (I want to get it done before the end of the year). I'm also looking forward to the Jubilee path after that and have been practicing on it and watching vids.

Question for the Titania-Guardian path, I'm keeping Kate, Shuri, Doom, and Juggs. Do I need to switch Heimdall (been my mvp for years) out to bring in Herc (maxed out), Vox (waiting until we get the free 7* and then will rank 2 him, the 6* is at r1), or Odin (6r3 but I can bring him to max rank if needed) for OS and then Guardian?

Thanks again for all the tips. Going back in a year after completion has reminded me of why I hate and love this content at the same time. Used much less resources this time.
