Awaken Maestro with Gem or selector?

I got a cosmic gem and have no one to use it on. I already have an awakened Serpent and Hype, who would be at the top of my list to awaken. The only champs I'd consider would be SIM or BRB but I'm not sold on them.

I was hoping that the Deathless Thanos awakening wouldn't be so soon so I could use it on him but it looks like that'll happen in January so no need to use the gem on him.

Now, I have a decision to make, with Carina's rewards being a selector between awakening Maestro and a Titan Nexus. Hold onto the gem or take the Nexus?

    Didn't they say that there would be special opportunities to awaken 7* Maestro in the stream? If I were you, I'd just hang onto the gem for now, and save it for another Cosmic in the future

    My fear with holding the gem is getting into the habit of just waiting forever for the next great champ to use it on and never ending up using it. Also, the fear of pulling the champ you just awakened is very real.
    IMO, knowing that using in on a champ that I won't ever pull from a crystal is pretty appealing.

    Reason wouldnt use a gem as exclusive champs or needs the dup and u have sigs are better use than a champ u can select also there be more titan crystals anyway

    Awaken gem will be available normally in nxt year . Titan nexus has more value

    Yeah, looks like 7* AGs are gonna be more available and Id' really hate to pull another cosmic one and have two in my stash collecting dust in hopes of pulling a new champ.

    Yes as it gives more pierce per neutronium and u keep the neutronium up all fight u can basically always have the passive effects plus u refresh the fury so quite a big deal

    It allows him to refresh furies, plus he gains block penetration per neutronium

    I'm still on the fence. If I pull a second cosmic gem from the rewards I'll 100% awaken him and take the Nexus.

    Hold on to that gem until they become more common. There'll be an opportunity to awaken Maestro.

    Don’t see how this is so close. You guys act like a titan nexus all of sudden gurantees somebody you want. I guess you can save the nexus to wait for a better pool, but there’s still a chance you get 3 champs you don’t want. Yes it’s true that awakening gems will be more common, however I’d be willing to bet we’ll be able to get several titans from Banquet. I’d go for the maestro dupe it actually makes him a good attacker

    That’s a good point you changed my mind, I’ve got one challenge left before getting the AG crystal. If I pulled cosmic, I might have given him the gem.
