Let's hear your initial thoughts on the first EIDOL champion in the game

I was going to take her to R3 right away, but I think I'm gonna hold off for now. Gonna R3 either Wong or Kushala.

She's a chop for me.

She's as buff-dependant as Symbiote Supreme but at least Sym Supreme can hit hard in the right matchup. Keeping in mind that 99.99% of people getting isophyne do not have the material to awaken her, I don't see her being realistically usable in any form of content when Dr. Doom, Shathra, Wiccan (who most people got from the Calendar), etc. are all capable of doing what she does and more. Even when people are able to get her awakened, her marked passive and other sig abilities aren't really enough to keep her relevant when there are already so many more better mystics.

Overall I kinda think she was promoted as a new Serpent, Maestro, and buff-heavy champion counter, but I think that, within and outside her niche, there is already enough good mystics for her to not have any impact on the game (and especially not in battlegrounds). Y'already got the free 7 star wiccan, and imo thats a far better investment for the time being.

This entire year we just keep hearing “We made this champ to counter this” and there’s barely any substance beyond that one ability. Feels like we had a year of Dani Moonstars with guest appearances by The Serpent and Count Nefaria.

Its evident Kabam really didn't want her to be overpowered as everyone would get her. I think they took a good direction with her, I especially love the Fractured Power Bar, But I do wish she had more, and I def think they could've gave her more without creating an inbalance. This champ especially for someone with the kind of story importance she has, along with being a 10th anniversary and December champ, she comes up just a little short of the bar we all had for her. The circumstances are understandable, and I'm not trying to downplay Kabams generosity at all. Id be fine with her being a bit of a dud if the other 3 founders bring more to the table, Her as some kind of opening gambit to the other Eidols (since everyone gets her free but I think its highly likely the other Eidols will have different and for sure harder acquisition, and by extension, be better champs) But as time passes into 2025 im sure she will find her place in the game.

I suspected it already, Isophyne got the BRB treatment, everyone was hyped about her but it turns out she’s good at best, so people would r3 an older champ. Lmao

it’s not that bad I got 2 minutes

maybe because the crit rng was better during my run

but she does need the ability to give buffs like kushala

with chance increasing with amount of ego charges

I have no idea what you’re doing to get that sorta damage.

Same deal, r1 7*. No relic, boosts, or synergies. I run no recoil masteries, not even a point in glass cannon. Literally half the time.

I’ve seen her crit for over 100k before on that sp2

So running mine vs ws i hit 29k non crit lol now hit a 100k crit but man the rng is so bad

Even serpent there doesnt seem to be enough buffs or crits to be viable for high health pool

Bad crit rng not getting much power for damage so fight takes a while to build

The pure definition of a 'Free' champ. I don't see why people were anticipating a broken champion, especially one being free. She seems alright, is a solid champion to build your roster. Is she worth ranking up when your pretty much Paragon or Valiant? Probably not. TB and below? Possibly.
