When you guys get to rebalancing her (it has to happen), PLEASE give her a chance to inflict opponents with placebo buffs

lol People have the champ for an hour and already want her buffed. Give her a chance most people don’t even know how to get the most out of her yet.

Doesnt take long to figure out what she needs to be viable long run
She’s not a nuke but she’s not bad. She’s got super easy access to to nullify, extra power gain, bleed and coldsnap immune, 100% wither passive to shut off power gain, a cool new fractured power bar, and when duped will shut down death immunity. Take some time using her before jumping to the forums saying “please buff” Testing her on winter soldier for 5 minutes isn’t the same as using her for actual content.

The suggestion for placebo buffs for example doesn’t make sense because she gains power when nullify triggers even if there’s not a buff to nullify. What good would a placebo buff do?

And thats less power than mystic dispersion which isophyene has in kit so why cant isophyene apply buffs to utilize that, i tried isophyene in matchups and vs non buffs the power u get from no buffs doesnt keep isophyene damage up or get it high enough, isophyene is mainly only dependent on buffs for long run isophyene isnt useable in bgs unless a node has buffs attached to it, the mystics we just got are better investments than isophyene in the long run wong chavez are better r3s than isophyene.

Edit: of course she doesnt need to be a nuke but let her apply buffs to nullify to make her damage actually viable long term as all i see is serpent only and for me its bad investment as i just do war which for me i just sym and solo the cosmics with ease and was hoping she be better for them but i dont see it because not enough buffs

My only point is we just got her a few hours ago, people’s testing is very limited, and so they don’t know how she will actually perform yet. So having a discussion about how to buff her without actually playing her in the actual relevant content is silly to me.

I don’t think she’s some crazy mystic but my first impression of her is she’s a decent option, and seems like an easy serpent counter which is a problem for a lot of players. Nullifying his buffs and turn off the power gain will make him a lot less threating even without her dupe. And the fact that her effects are all passive makes her harder to shut down. I find her power gain is decent if you use MLLLL combos and it’s not as good as mystic dispersion but you’re triggering it more than you’re usually able to trigger mystic dispersion.

Just increase her energy vulnerbility scale and you can place placebo buffs and she's sorted.

    Or

Has a X% chance to inflict a vulnerbility on medium attack

I don’t think she needs placebo buffs because she’s supposed to gain power even without them. I would give her some kind of debuff to go along with her heavy attack (since it does absolutely nothing) and have a more impactful ramp up for her Ego charges. I even allow her to get hit sometimes just to boost her power gain and her ego (much like another character who I won’t mention by name due to cross-franchises) I pretty much suggest this for every Kabam release but remove her Ego cap so that you can organically increase her damage and give her some extra utility.

It’s also amusing that Kabam added some amazing synergies for her after shying away from synergies all year. I remember being confused watching the spotlight as they mentioned that using recoil masteries with her would be beneficial… hmm well what about if we just made her immune to recoil damage. Let’s go even further! Make recoil boost her ego (Remove the cap)

If that happened you could ignore every other thing on this page and she would still be a fan favorite character. We could slap on the Aegon synergy fire a special attack and receive the immune icon which would trigger a fury and there we go! Isophyne 🎉🎊! A powerhouse that deserves to be a ranked up 7 star overnight.

Maybe to grant even more MD? Even if you get pushed to 3 bars, you can use any special
