I’d say Spiral for now. Isophyne needs more time

Spiral seems to require pretty high skill to play correctly, but counters serpent out of the box.
Isophyne needs the dupe to counter serpent, but seems pretty easy to play.

Really depends on who you enjoy more, honestly, and if you will be getting the isophyne dupe from banquet.

Isophyne doesn't seem to be a very good defender, where spiral I believe would be more of a dual threat also.

I'm having the same debate because I pulled spiral yesterday.
