Really helps with him in general and that quest as if you can rank him enough you can just hold block, reparry and never let them throw a special. Couple sp1 from you and a few degen pauses and it’s goodnight.

Rank up Kate and Sinister. My 6 star r5a Sinister is amazing. In half of quests I can just ignore the nodes and smash through it with him. Kate can be insane for basically everything.
Finally had some crystal luck. Maybe a bit too much! Had to pick between CGR, hulkling or serpent in my abyss! I went with CGR but couldn’t decide between them for ages. Can’t really lose with any pick there!

Abyss nexus, should I pick herc or serpent? I already have herc 5* maxed out ascended sig 200. Both of these would be unduped

I went for him. Probably be a while until I use him over the 5* as it’s gonna take an age to even get him awakened never mind sig him up, but also probably the right choice long term!
Best advice anybody could give you, don’t spend a single dollar or unit on banquet.
I won’t be spending any money but I had 3300 units and I spent all of them on banquet. I have 2 new 7*, I have 6* herc and CGR, I have loads of rank up materials to get at least 3 6* champs to R4. I also have more gold than I have ever had. It’s been well worth the units in my opinion. All I’m short on now is iso!

Banquet has been insane to me so far for my progression level. 2 new 7* but don’t think any are very good. Hawkeye and Mantis.
Sinister clears the most content by far but he wants ideally willpower, dupe and then apoc synergy. Kate is really good but covers less ground as no immunity and a bit trickier to play with the timer watching.
Like sinister has nice immunity, bleed, reverse control, unblockables and when you get WP you can just reflect any dot debuffs with sp1 and heal back any damage taken. Not perfect but if you rank him high enough he just ploughs through it, I regularly do fight like abominations where you’re constantly taking dot.
TBH you should ascend all of them as sinister best as a 6* (high sig), Kate and CGR are not avail as 7*. Shuri would be last imo as you may get her as a 7*. Once you get into act 7/8 you’ll have dust coming out your ears so don’t worry too much just go with the one you like using the most maybe.
Don’t overlook Angela either as a 6* once you can awaken her and sig 100 she is incredibly powerful esp with Odin synergy. She’s that kinda Swiss Army knife like sinister. She becomes “immune” to any dot debuff, nullify, auto block and can parry non contacts.

Use someone who can prevent/remove buffs or can counter unstoppable for the hydra adaptoid
Ah man I’m so annoyed. I should have chosen the uncollected rewards rather than the cab rewards from holiday gift. The awakening gem would have meant so much more to me than the 2 -> 3 gem especially after all the rank up rewards from banquet. I didn’t even look as just assumed the rewards would be worse!!

Good news - after not playing much over Christmas, I completed 6.4.5 last night. Actually really easy once getting past dark hawk but boss was tricky. Hated pulling 7* Hawkeye at the time but his Slow was prettty useful against the boss. I’m now in the final stages of cavalier and just the dreaded grandmaster to get past. Kinda looking forward to fighting him but want to make sure I have a realistic amount of revives before I try. I currently have 10 40% revives and 10 20% revives. No units due to banquet 🙈 what would you guys recommend for someone who’s never encountered this sort of fight before in terms of revives/units? I remember the collector cost me around 500 units at the time I believe.

Honestly, I would try and do a couple of run-through's just to see how far you can get without using revives at all. If you can get to the Grandmaster with some champs remaining, then excellent. Do a few practise fights against the GM and try to get used to the mechanics of the fight before committing to using all of your revives and units.
But before you do any of this, watch MCoCNoob video's on YouTube. This will help more than anything.

I don't know if this helps, but back when I had to take down the GM the first time, I just couldn't do it. I had to brute force him. It cost 2000 units. But you also have stronger champs than I did when, so even if you got the brute force route, it should be cheaper.
That doesn’t fill me with confidence if even you struggled 😅 I’ve just pulled 7* moondragon which I wasn’t overly happy with but will have some use for the GM at least!

When the Grandmaster is in his wounded stage, what’s the best way to maximise damage? Is it literally just MLLLM for every character or still stick by character specific playstyles?
Guys I have the Grandmaster down to 40% health. I’ve used around 10 revives so far and I have 14 left (7 20%, 7 40%). I feel like I’m too invested to back out now but do you think I have enough resources? I have no units thanks to banquet but have RC immune champs on my team so not overly worried about phase 3 I don’t think!
