1000 times this. When I was TB, seeing the vastly superior Valiant rewards was a motivating factor for me to push my progression. Not to denigrate the achievements of my Thronebreaker friends, but that rank is essentially glorified Cavalier, not Valiant Lite.
You guys have once again ignored valiant players. The crystals are disappointing for us. I would have been better off using these units on Black Friday deals but I was hoping this event would live up to its promise. Sure, for my jr account that just hit paragon, these rewards are great. the rewards for top tier players used to be great, go back to that.
We wanted to move more of the rewards to the milestones, while keeping 7-star relevant rewards in the crystals as you build up your tracks in the various milestones between solo and alliance-based events. Our intention was to improve the experience over last year's event, and feel we have succeeded in that goal.

With 18,840 points, my Paragon alt now has enough mats to r3 two 7* champs and has currently 0% progress toward Valiant
This certainly wouldn't have happened during last year's event, so success!
My Valiant account sure feels like a chump for some reason though, as I suspect others who toiled playing challenging content over the past 13 months to squeeze these mats out the hard way, other than pocketing units in arenas and autoplaying EQs.
I did like that Year Champ Selector last year though, that would have been nice even as a 2021-onward 6* option.

Even with all the disappointing rewards for something as hyped as the 10-year anniversary GRAND banquet, what really sticks out is how much you guys undermine how hard this has flopped.
Go on Youtube, Line, Discord, here and wherever else the community has a voice and a strong majority of them have opinions on a spectrum of "oh that's kinda disappointing" to words that would get me banned if I reiterate them here.
Sugarcoating this isn't working, the community has already made up their mind. Something has to be done to try to win them back because many of them feel like they've been strung along for the past 4 months with all the hype.
@kabam I just wanna say that Christmas is all about giving, but ever since last year y’all have been holding back on giving rewards and joy!! 4 years ago 50 GBC had made me very happy especially in the first batch of 5 I had gotten a 6* weapon x!! But now after opening 25+ SBC and watching Seatin open 40 I’ve been very disappointed! Currently right now I said to myself I’m not even bothering to buy anymore SBC for the rest of the event and just focus on the Carina Challenges cause it really not worth my units and money. I’m even fearful of what y’all are going to give us on Christmas Day. Are y’all even going to gift any presents?!
Well all i wanted for this event was to awaken my Shocker and get more r3s, what i've pulled is better than Cyberweek Valiant Bundles all in on t4 alpha and gems. No Shocker dupe yet so my 200sigs are still useless. My Paragon alt did get a Limited Edition Selector ofc picked Shocker, alt had one t4a before event, ended up with 8 total if final ms are reached. Happy over here! now give me Shocker dupe.
I’m disappointed in this event between the points required and the prices and the items in the crystals and the contribution points needed to hit milestone and unfortunately the way it’s looking I’ll be stuck at under 10k for the rest event cause I don’t make enough to pour into the game. Hopefully we get a huge compensation or else millions will be upset

55 superior banquet crystals to get materials I can easily get in the bg store. 300 units for t5cc?? Really? 300 units for 10% t6cc? Not even a half of a t4a. I did manage to pull the champion selector but that doesn't save the event.
For an event that was hyped up for MONTHS I feel shafted. I regret all the time I spent in arena grinding units for superior banquet "coal" crystals.I have alliance mates that spent more time grinding arena, more money on crystals that didn't get anything useful.
In previous years I was excited to open these banquet crystals, this year I’ve opened over 60 already and just feel disappointed, they were supposed to have less filler, but they feel more dead than ever. The milestones are nice but making the crystals so underwhelming takes away the fun of banquet crystals. Might as well make it a unit deal at that point.
What's the point of this? We went through this last year too. Is it just damage control? Because what "could" be fixed, won't be fixed until next year banquet. And if this year, the 10th anniversary, is to set a precedent, we will be disappointed again.
This banquet is essentially giving resources to Thronebreaker+ to rank up their 6 stars to R5 or 7 stars to R2 while teasing 7 star R4 by giving 0.33% of required T7B for the rank up and giving some T4A quantity for 7 star R3 if one is so lucky and just short of 3 for the rank up from crystals. And opening crystals is the exciting part of banquet. Sadly that experience is lost.
The amount of some rewards is senselessly low, 5.700 Cats are literally nothing as an example. The drop rates of the rewards should be readjusted, one thing is having RNG based rewards and the other is having a very high chance of getting nothing useful. The minimum spend required to get the Alliance/Realm Event rewards makes no sense. The milestones are too high.
And thats basically the problem; my advice would be to check the first Banquet rewards and drop rates, since that was decent, even quite huge compared to this and last year Banquets
Valiants no need sig stones (most of times in 7 star crystal it open dupe champs), then the 7* shards start from 1.5k it's not reasonable for valiant, & finally the drop rate percent on full crystal (Titan, nexus, key, 7*, selector etc..) Is below below average for valiants.. If improved for valiants it would become great banquet..
I’m actually glad you posted this. I like cold hard evidence and I posted earlier about an issue I had and can’t believe I forgot to bring up the fact that they were so excited about 50/50 filler but used that to obscure the fact that there is a 1% chance to get the best rewards combined and a generous 5% chance of getting something that feels meaningful. The crystal actually has over a 90% chance of giving disappointment.
The problem moving everything to milestones is that it makes the individual crystals feel awful. Spending 300 units on a crystal and getting 5700 T6CC when most your high end players can/do buy 10 25% T6CC crystals weekly from the BGs store for free is a slap in the face.
If your individual experience of opening Crystals feels awful and doesn't produce value that is near the price of a crystal, then the event feels awful. The milestones are full of filler as well, in the livestream it was even said that T6B and T3A are filler, and that is a large amount of the milestones. Sure there are some good things in there, but in general players see milestones as bonus rewards on top of an already good deal they are buying, and this year the deal we as players are buying is awful, the milestones help a bit but the sheer terrible feeling of opening the crystals makes it hard for anyone at the high end to feelgood about the event.
You open 10 crystals and go gee what did I get for my 100$, oh look less materials than I get in a week in the game. Then you go to milestones and claims a few things and go that wasn't much more. Then you go to the forums and go LOL this event is awful.
The economy team really has been struggling ever since 7*s have been released and this shows yet again how out of touch the team is with their player base.
If I got 250-500 units worth of value out of every crystal I opened, I don't care if the whales get mega ahead, they are spending money and funding the game. As it stands I feel like this event is going to be a failure with the whales as well and the overall money earned from this event is going to be an all time low.
this banquet is so horrible.. the amount reward from sgbc is so little… 20k units on cyber wknd got my 3 r2-3 7* and a bunch of 7* with a selector of 7* … this banquet event even with the rewards from sgbc plus the milestones in the events.. is jist enough for 1 rank r2-3 7* and like 1 extra t4a… the rank up resources is not even half compare to cyber wknd with same amount of units spend.. this a big SLAPPPP on all players face except the one works with kabam…
Would honestly just prefer Kabam to focus on the massive number of graphical issues that have come up recently, as well as the blatant issues with intercepts ever since 60fps came out.
Seems the marketing of the banquet event took away from any attention towards these issues... The game is just in a poor state right now, but hey, here's some "shiny stuff" to help take your mind off things.
Most Disappointing Banquet event ever, i save from banquet to banquet, spent 18k units, won't be saving for the next banquet if this is what kabam plans for the players
This is the worst banquet event above all. I’ve spent on all of them. And I did on this one. But the crystals are ****. So underwhelming. I’ll be ftp going forward if this continues. Check. I spend lots.
I bet seatin is regretting coming out to play. The filler is what is filling the crystals. You want us to spend but valiants like myself and paragons feel like we get dumped on in these crystals. Even thronebreaker can get most of the things at a cheaper rate in stores through gameplay areas. We were promised less fillers in the stream and that is what the majority is. The points needed for meaningful items in all milestone areas is just ridiculous. Another failure. Sorry John or I’m sorry crashed but kabam fell not short, but into a bottomless pit with this failure of an event. 10 years(veteran) and I have the title showing I’ve been here since the beginning and I think I may have finally found my reason to quit. 10 years of this game and this promised great event that has been a dismal disappointment is just too much. Top that off with the smug response that your team feels like they hit the mark when the community in every area(line, discord, forums, YouTube, etc) have all echoed the sentiment of the failure this event is just shows how out of touch with the community you are.
The drop rate of titan shards is terrible, I have to say I made a mistake in buying all the crystals up front, had I paid attention to the drop rates I probably would have saved my units.
I know it’s RNG, but 99% of what I got I’m not excited for. Even with the rank up materials, I have the basic mats, but not the glass mats which are generally harder to get, so I didn’t even get that many more rank ups.
As others have said, there should be more of an effort to separate the progression levels. I should have learned my lesson last year.
If i m opening 70-80 sbc, i deserve 7* shards, titan shards, Any of the 7* champ items. Not all rankup mats that leaves me feel what i did and was it all worth it. One crystal did give me 20k titan shards but besides no highlights in complete opening at all. The rankup mat drop rates are too high, that too the T5 and T6 frags. SBC is definitely downgrade compared to last year, atleast that gave me the 5* and 6* trophy champs.

You have a chance to try to make up for it by buffing the rank rewards for alliance and solo event.
Or maybe you could drop a unit refund compensation and release a buffed superior banquet crystals.
