If the concern was the valiants and end game paragon's were getting the same rewards as the cavs and uncollecteds, then it isn't better this year. If we're getting only t3 alpha frags, t5ccs, etc, then what is the real difference from last year here? I opened around 23 SBCs, i got 3000 7* shards, sm t6cc frags, and everything else was t5cc, t3alpha frags, or t8 basic frags. I am still a paragon, and even for me, these rewards ended up straight in the overflow stash. So what can i expect for valiants? who have the exact same rewards. If the point was to be a better experience from last year? i am not very sure u guys can see u have "succeeded".
Getting units is like the biggest struggle in this game for me as very few areas reward them, some of them being very grindy. I have been grinding post 9.1 exploration, and till yesterday had collected 4.6k in total, with 550k battlechips for more units. So to sum up, I spent 6k units,(I haven't collected more than 3k at once in past). I was surprised the milestone rewards were good this time with 10k points as my contribution. But upon opening the banquet and superior banquet crystals, my happiness shattered. All the effort and grinding, for this? I pulled so many t6cc frags(not even full catalysts, which can be purchased from battlegrounds store at comparatively less efforts). I am not gonna complain about t4a catalysts, because they are still rare in game, but 300 units for only a mere part of something we can easily buy in loads, as an ftp player is a horrible deal. Do keep in mind that 6k units were my all time highest units stock ever, and it flushed into the drain with my hopes, only for t6cc frags.
Pls kabam, this is coming from a dedicated ftp summoner, honestly this event was a massive flop, do something to make us feel satisfied with our efforts and crystals please. I plead you on behalf of every summoner who has felt disappointed during such a joyful gifting season

We just wanted to take a moment and address some of the concerns around our Banquet event this year as we see some of you are disappointed with the Superior Banquet Crystals in particular.
You can’t say “some of you are disappointed” when I think it’s very obvious it’s the vast majority of your entire player base and probably almost every single end game player that’s disappointed with this “grand” banquet and everything in it, especially the crystals.
The crystals themselves would be good for a brand new TB player but most certainly not a valiant player. There should have been an additional crystal level that was only for valiant with much much better odds on all the really good stuff. And increase the minimums of everything. I personally feel very scammed with this event.
If you truly want to make the player base happy, especially your biggest money makers (end game players of course) you should create that better crystal, and after the event ends (so it doesn’t award points and nobody can further purchase crystals) give all valiant players those better crystals for every SBC they opened during the event. That would very easily and quickly rectify almost everyone’s issues with the crystals and the event as a whole.
Noone wants to hear this right now but banquet crystals sucking is a good thing. These spending rituals like Banquet, Cyber Weekend etc are really unhealthy for the overall economy and balance of the game. I'm certain Kabam are aware of this and I wish Kabam would stop them altogether so they wouldn't feel the need to have a "chase" item for gigawhales and we can progress through the ranks and rarities as a playerbase more slowly but the amount of money these rituals seemingly generate just makes that impossible.
I agree with you in principle. But, personally, I would rather an enjoyable experience playing this game, even if it meant risking the overall economy & balance.

The event is good for anyone TB or below but for valiant end game players, they are not worth 300 units for SBC. 31% chance for t6 frag crystal is a slap in the face for valiant players.

It is very strange that the titan crystal rate is incredibly low. And there is no gift calendar, which there always was.. Also, there is no holiday gift, so it has to be given very badly. My suggestion to you is a solid 14-day gift calendar, think of it as compensation, a key at the end, a piece of r2 7y, 20k titan piece, 30k 7y etc.

The idea itself is good and I have noticed there being good rewards in the tracks (solo/alliance/realm). However, the participation bars are pretty high, so it is fairly probable for a player to open 20-30 SBCs, pulling noting AND then being left out of the best rewards on the realm scale. I don't know your plans Kabam, but this doesn't exactly motivate many players.
Seeing the realm part, your revenue is gonna be great, so calling Banquet a "disaster" would be a plain lie, but if I were to give you one advice: don't make Banquet Realm event the first Realm event that is impossible for f2p players. It feels kinda bitter to split the community on christmas, making people just desperately watch rewards the whole community contributed towards, knowing that even though they invested all they could of their own resources, they can't have these rewards, because let's say 8k units wasn't enough.
I was saving units for a year like crazy, knowing there will be a 10-anniversary banquet. In total, I approached the banquet with 25k of hard-saved units I opened like 80 (if not more) superior banquet crystals and the only worthy reward was a 7-star nexus crystal (with an average selection of champs, though). Not even a single titan crystal or enough shards to form one. For Valiant, all those rewards I can get on a regular basis just by playing normally 🤷🏻♂️
If I convert those units into money, it's around 800-900 euro, and the total rewards are terrible from that point of view. This is all very demotivating, to be honest.
I kind of get the community milestones idea but that doesn't justify that our individual hard work on saving units and progressing is just disrespected. Even the last year banquet was more pleasant and fair. My whole alliance is disappointed and devastated. A lot of people on higher progression levels are depressed. I think you underestimate how much such approach can demotivate and affect players.
Just take all those rewards back and give me my units back, revert everything for me. I will keep them till better times. Thanks God I haven't spent any euro on purchasing those units otherwise I'd request a refund via Google Play and quit. This is just insanely disrespectful
I am Playing Summoners wars around 5 years and in that game also 10 years anniversary event running. The last 10 year event is not making summoner happy and they just add rewards and new calendar within 2 days after event drop as per community suggestions.
As a spender on every event, I have to admit this Banquet event was good in terms of realm and solo rewards, BUT the SBC’s were atrociously horrendous. You claimed to discard most of the “filler” items only to increase the chances of pulling mainly T6cc fragments… Most of your big spenders are valiant summoners who have access to these types of materials fairly easy.
$10+ per SBC only to pull a measly amount of fragments is ridiculous…

This is not what I expected from the GRAND Banquet. Totally disappointed with the SBCs. I don't know how they came up with this at the time of Christmas and New Year. Yes, 10 7 star champs were great but still had more expectations from the GRAND Banquet at 10 years anniversary. I should have saved my units for the Carina challenges. Feeling sad about it.

A single 7* random key and 2 additional 7*. Opened roughly 80+ crystals and only got a key… a reward that is honestly just an insult. Cool, a new champ. I have zero chance to dupe him even though I spent the equivalent of $600 worth of units (and tickets to be fair, but I’m lumping that in because I paid for most tickets).
I literally could have bought nearly every drop I got from the rank up store and still had 3-4K units left. It is literally cheaper and more effective to directly buy the mats from the unit store. The milestones are the only reason your paragons aren’t mad right now, and honestly suck for what they are. I’ve been playing for roughly 8 years and I’ve seen a ton of meh events over the years. This is arguably the worst event I’ve ever seen Kabam throw. We get better rewards from our daily events and even the old daily crystals.
Why on earth would you expect us to be excited about dropping 10 - 18k units to get just enough mats to R3 one maybe 2 champs and 1-3 unique random champs? I spent to get max rewards in a ton of your events this year, including cyber weekend. Most people in every Discord I’m in, including your own, as well as every line group, in game chat, forum post, even social media, are telling you this was a downright terrible event. The vast majority of your community is telling you you’re wrong, including a lot of people who were planning to spend a lot more. Why would we spend more when you continue to ignore us despite promising us the SBC’s would be specifically more valuable for valiant players. That was a lie. This post has literally one person on it that isn’t incredibly disappointed. Pinwheel suggested there were positive threads out there. Yeah, maybe for the 1% of people who got anything usable/cool. The rest of us feel deceived and cheated.
As for constructive criticism, the issue are the drop rates and drop quantities. I shouldn’t be getting 10% of a t6CC, 50% of a T3A, 50% of a T6B, or any T5CC. As countless others have stated, we get a ton of these in other parts of the game, and the low quantities being by far the most prevalent drops (believe about 60 of my crystals contained these). I did the math earlier with the rank up store and all of those quantities are either far cheaper or slightly cheaper in the store than this useless crystal. I understand the t7B being a tease, and the amount of T4A I couldn’t care less about, but 1 7* sig stone is ridiculous. We get one of those every day for free. It’s not worth 300 units. Don’t even get me started on the drop rates of 7*. Why are shards even in this? I got a ton of 7* from spending a similar amount cyber weekend along with 9-10 7R3 rank ups.
