I think there’s one simple thing Kabam can do to at least soften the blow

So, this banquet, we all know and saw, is a massive disappointment. Those who spent didn’t get their money worth, which encourages those who haven’t spent to still not spend. Kabam Crashed said that if the crystals were good, that would just create an enormous gap between the big spenders and the rest of us, but, there already is ? And I mean, look at the ranked rewards. Whales are gonna get r4, three titans, three nexus titans, and much more, so how is this event closing the gap in any way ? Why couldn’t they just make all the players happy and excited for it ? I feel like the players being happy is a bit more valuable than a few players out there getting their rank 4's, at least if the game is meant to survive for a few more years.

There’s one simple thing they could do to kind of make up for the disappointment : they could just add a Christmas calendar, with really good rewards. I’m talking a bunch of seven stars, maybe some titan shards, some r3 materials, possibly some r4, a guardian key or something. This way, those who spent a lot or spent all their hard earned units will get some of their money worth back, and those who didn’t spend a dime will still get the rewards of the anniversary, minus the milestones rewards that the spenders wouldn’t have gotten. This will take away some of the negativity, and I don’t see it as being too far fetched, compared to increasing the drop rates or something like that.

    R9Maqo they won’t be able to do that because every player has spent differently. They will never manage to make it fair. They could make it by milestone again, like if you spent 10k units you get that much, 5k you get that much, but there would have to be a **** ton of milestones for it to be somewhat fair, because not everyone spent uniformly.

    @WednesdayLength, they could, but it’s not enough. We could’ve literally gotten that in the cyber weekend. The banquet is supposed to be the ultimate celebration of the 10th anniversary of the game. They should give us something that feels like it. I feel like a mix between seven stars and titan shards, and rank 3 materials is fair in everyone.

    So you want them to soften the blow by giving out free seven stars, even though they just did the biggest free giveaway of 7 stars in the history of the game ?

    That’s was for their anniversary. Event while there was great I had them all except 2 for obvious reasons. Most wasn’t really that’s amazing either

    I would say that milestones are the most fair way to do it. A lot of players aren’t happy with the milestones in the event. Making it so that if you spent a lot already you get bonus stuff isn’t the worst thing.

    @WednesdayLength they gave them out for the celebration of the 10th anniversary. This is different. This is the banquet of the 10th anniversary. It should be and should’ve been huge. And yes, with how awful the drop rates are, and with how many units you need to spend to get to the really good milestones, I don’t see it as too far fetched for them to give us a Christmas calendar with everything we should’ve gotten had the drop rates been good.

    This is really the only way. A tiered care package based on unit spend that is amazing. You get a package for each tier you cross. That way people sitting out can be enticed to come back in for these care packages as they cross thresholds.

    It being anniversary doesn't change the fact that they still gave them out. The banquet was planned with those 7 stars in mind for sure.
