A Step in the Right Direction

Kabam, thank you for adding the additional rewards in the realm event. This is a great step towards the player base and shows you are listening.

I’m curious if you guys will be discussing your thought process on this event and how you intend to move forward.

I am of the opinion that more should be done for those who are paragon and above, and have spent a fair bit on the crystals, but again, just my opinion and I’m grateful for the step you have taken as of now.

Don’t get it twisted, I would love to receive titan nexus crystals or regular titan crystals. But I think that might be expecting too much

Great, now re-do the SBC drop rates and compensate the people who have already spent with SBC'S.
It's a step in the right direction but it currently still isn't enough I'm sorry.

I completely agree that I think more should be done! Hence a step in the right direction. More steps need to be taken, but I’m encouraged they are already addressing part of the problem

Well, it s nice and all, but it s simple a way to make disappointed people to keep opening/buying crystals, since, I assume, the results are not ideal so far.

Just to be clear. I agree with everyone saying it’s not enough. That’s the point of saying it’s a STEP in the right direction. They haven’t arrived at the point where everything is ok

The problem was never the milestones, it was the depressing crystals we have to buy to get there.

I don't know why people keep saying this when it isn't true. The realm stuff was never part of the rewards budget.

And here goes the carrot dangling. Give them props? No, it’s in the realm event. Only the guys throwing thousands of dollars into the event are going to benefit. They aren’t listening. They’re trying to get whales spending again and I hope they don’t so that it sends a message to the team.

Because the evidence overwhelming points to it being entirely true. Because without the realm event the event would be entirely subpar. There is absolutely no way that the realm rewards are “on top” of the rewards that were budgeted as we were told on stream.

And post let down we are told to then factor in the totality of the milestone rewards into our unit investment now, which means including the realm event.

So either the event was always planned to be subpar and was never meant to be a grand 10-year celebration OR rewards for the realm event were clearly factored into the reward budget.

I’ve been thinking about this point a lot lately and someone has to explain this.

Either:

A. The reward budget was maxed already and the realm is literally breaking the game economy.

B. The reward budget was under tuned and there was enough room to add Realm.

It can’t be “on top of” unless the baseline for banquet wasn’t already maxed out. If it was already maxed out that would mean they decided to break the economy with the realm rewards.

Can someone try to explain it differently?

There's no evidence. Its just you assuming. You want something to blame so you throw this in there as well. If the crystals were better or whatever and the event was good, you wouldn't even mention it. But you need stuff to throw at them so just completely make this up. There's no reason for them to lie about it.

Because it's the one thing they can update. Haven't you noticed they added to tiers we haven't reached yet instead of other tiers below? Most all alliances who are even half trying have maxed their milestones out, so they can't add things to those without possibly causing issues. The easiest thing they can do is add to milestone levels that haven't been reached yet. Most likely just a quick thing they can do right this minute.

Neither one. The rewards budget was maxed in how Kabam perceived it to be. Realm isn't breaking the game. The rewards in realm aren't exactly staggering. But they are not part of the original rewards budget.

Rewards in realm are twice better than solo and alliance rewards. I don't think that's how one describe "extra stuff".

Can you elaborate or explain your view more? If you look at banquet as a whole, I only see those two options. Banquet without Realm wasn’t the max reward budget the game could handle or Realm exceeds what the game can handle. There is no other option I see. I’m asking you to explain instead of just say both are wrong.

They can easily send comp to every person or alliance that has reached X amount of points.

Basically, correct my english if I m wrong, but "on top of" implicates that the TOP milestone points are the same as the TOP Realm event points. This is clearly not the subject here.

So there are extra rewards... But to get them you're likely to have to spend more to get them. Anyone not currently at the threshold and frustrated to spend more will not achieve it.... Hmmm...

You have the Banquet event. Alliance/Solo Milestones and crystals. That's the event. The rewards in that event would be there regardless of anything else and those would have been the most rewards we would have gotten.

The realm is an added event. Those rewards are extra. They did not impact what we would have had in the banquet.

I am not saying they won't or shouldn't. I am saying due to the holidays and it being a weekend, this is a stop gap for the moment.
