I will say, there has been some great parts. The champ drops, even though I had them all except isophebe and GP were amazing. The reworked champs and the ability to get each of them once before you can dupe was great. The community portion of the gifting event was also great. I do think that at least a full titan should have been in the individual or alliance rewards and a 2-3 gem/crystal.
I want to be hopeful for the Christmas gift for valiant but if it isn’t a titan nexus, 2-3 gem, or 7* ag crystal it will be a huge miss. A 2023 selector would be cool as well. .
That holiday gift better be 10 titan nexus and 10 rank 3 gems and 10 genetic awakening gems at this point. The community is done with the scam from Kabam. They pulled the rug on the whole community huge scamming grifters
Hold up, so they added more stuff at the top pf the milestones...however. i already spent like over $100 to get even 8900 points, meaning for me to even qualifiy to get those 7 stars i have to spend over $100 more dollars....are you freaking kidding me?
Listen, ive been playing thia game for almost the 10 years if has been running, and this seems like a spit in the face to ftp players. In todays economy, Normal people cant be spending hundreds of dollars for this type of stuff, and Im not even ftp, Ill spend here and there if the deal is good, but I dont even know how to respond to this. I spend way too much time, effort and money on this game to quit now. But i think its time for me to just stop spending my hard earned money on this game and enjoy what i can as a free to play from here on out.
Dont get me wrong, the 10x10 was great, but what is being asked from the banquet, even if you spend money is just too much and kinda seems like a kick in the teeth to a lot of people, even if you are willing to spend a bit of money on the game

I think you’re going to lose players. This event has been hyped up beyond belief. You made out like collecting the banquet tickets was the holy grail, and there would be less filler per Crystal. Overall the “Glorious” banquet is a bust.
Couple this with the chronoversary side quest, which I’ve seen people complain about due to the difficulty, for poor rewards. The monthly event quests are also outdated and don’t give relevant rewards for Valiant players.
I get the idea of not wanting the gap between Valiant players and the rest of the pack to widen, but that doesn’t mean that valiants shouldn’t be rewarded for the effort they’ve put in to get where they are. How is it that you can add things to the BG store for purchase to Valiant only, but won’t recognise them separately for reward events?
Putting more of the rewards in the realm event is so tone deaf. Remember in the live stream where they promised that the realm events weren’t going to subtract from any of the rewards (it was a “cherry on top” in their words) but now the only things of value are in the realm event. It’s a joke

They could do that but they would never consider it. Whatever the least effort approach you can think of is probably what will end up happening.
They’re in a bad position atm. I think some sort of big fix or compensation is the only way to fix this. But how do you provide adequate compensation without providing lower level players dozens of titans but also adequately compensate the higher progression players

Ive been playing this game for 9 years between 2 different accounts and this is probably the most lackluster banquet I've experienced. I didnt spend huge... maybe 12K units, but I got almost nothing to show for it. I think I got 4500 total 7 star shards.
I understand not wanting us to outgrow 7* too quickly but the lack of shards was pretty concerning to me. I typically drop 2-3 odins on top of whatever units I have saved up, but definitely will not be this year.
Personally, I think the kabam team did a great job with the 10 year anniversary and handling both the positive and negative feedback from the community. They’re one of the best and hard working game teams I’ve ever come across and a lot of other game teams don’t even respond much less provide detailed explanations and posts for players to get a heads up as soon as they can. However, I also found myself pretty disappointed in the banquet itself. i think the main problem is that it’s not progression based, so high paragons and valiants are understandably disappointed. People hit the grind for their units and many feel that they aren’t really being rewarded for all that effort. I remember one year we had any champ selector, but it feels like we don’t have that much control over receiving some of the champs we want. As a valiant, I’m happy with the rank up materials but xmas banquet hasn’t given me a single champ that I’ve been hoping for, so maybe more seven star crystals? Also, I spent thousands more units this year than the last, and yet I felt that I got more value out of it last xmas as a paragon than this year as a valiant player, even taking into consideration the realm rewards and ranked rewards I’ll likely receive later on. Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all you players and the game team. Thanks for all the work you put in.
So much hype made for such a disappointing event. I already opened like 100 crystals. What was my best reward? 7 star shards... And not even that much. Last time I spend money on this game. I will keep playing but spend money somewhere else. This event was a fraud.
I think that if yall stressed prior to the event that the real value was in the milestones people would be happier. I think clearer marketing about the black Friday and banquet events would help this. Meaning black Friday is more about making deliberate individual choices, banquet about hitting milestones. It really is a decent haul from the milestones.
Also thank you for adding the 7s to the realm milestones. Hard to argue w the value now tbh.

Bad droprates, a lot of fillers for valiants despite saying otherwise, nothing for people who wanna spend minimal units , i could drop 5k units but the rewards would be useless.
Kabam has made it clear, screw everyone except those who spend in the game lol, seriously, how can they always make the wrong decision? Now if you did bad in your opening you can feel more miserable knowing that there are more rewards that most will not be able to obtain, seriously this is laughable.

The 10 7s champs that were gifted were for sure something nice but from the perspective of an endgame player who already had those champions (except for isophyne because she's new, but apparently she's mid) I can say I only have gained the awakening on guilly99. The 10 champs are not bad themselves, but they're surely not the champs we strive to collect to strengthen our rosters. They are all champs with little to no use, both in alliance war and bgs. I'm going to use gui99 for the carina challenge but that's it. To be absolutely clear, I'd rather get 10 7s crystals than 10 champs I'm not using or that I already have. That's not saying the gift was bad, but for sure that's not what was making me excited about the banquet or the celebration.
60 fps is cool but with it brings massive animations issues concerning hit boxes (including some specials whiffing) so I'm not even using that setting until everything is working properly.
Lastly, the christmas gift or what you call it now "annual gift" (lol at changing names to stuff so that people don't randomly get offended for no reason) has always been there as a special gift for us summoners and that was always something to add on top of banquet event (or gifting event as it was once called). It was never meant to make up for the disappointment of the event itself. And while I can say it's likely that we will appreciate it, I'm still feeling like you guys are missing the mark with the understanding of the whole situation.
As it's been said time and time again in this thread and in other threads, the banquet event and the banquet crystals THEMSELVES have been hyped up for months, setting up really really high expectations for us summoners. Many people saved their units for banquet, possibly missing out on other stuff (i.e cyber weekend deals). And they got massively disappointed because their units investment has nothing to show for it (except for the stuff we got from the milestones). Like we said again and again the milestones themselves are good (even though the rewards organization is kinda weird and it's very weird to see 1-2 rank up gem as one of the top prizes since the game is shifting towards rank 4 materials in this exact event), but what's missing is the enjoyment of opening the crystals themselves, hoping to get something nice. Like a kid opening a christmas gift, that's the feeling you want us summoners to experience when we open banquet crystals. The expectation, looking forward to see what we get... but that's just thrown out the window when you open like 60 of them and get absolutely nothing. I wouldn't complain if at least rank resources were in large amount, but even those are mostly tiny bits. Like seriously what was kabam thinking when they decided it was alright that 300 units SUPER banquet crystal would give us 2 t5cc??? You guys told us superior banquet crystals would only contain stuff related to 7 star champions and indeed you still need t5cc to rank them up, but that stuff is absolutely trivial to get by just by playing aq and eq... not to mention bg store. I'm not saying we expected to get a titan crystal in every banquet crystal but this feeling of bitterness and disappointment is not going away after reading that you guys are sure we will be happy after the christmas (annual) gift. You are missing the point.
