What's the point of progression if Valiants are goin to be lumped in with lower progression levels?

I've asked this before and got a lot of negative responses. With the **** banquet rewards, I think this is a fair time to ask this again lol.

I don't know about other Valiant players, but I didn't fight, grind, and buss my ASSets to get the highest progression level, only to be placed in the same rewards bracket as Paragon and Thronebreaker, and get screwed over.

This is not intended to offend anyone at those levels. This is to show the unfairness that we have been shown.

Nothing to add except that I agree 100%. And if the answer is, “that’s not how banquet works” then they should change banquet.

Totally agree.
Kabam put the emphasis on progression and wanting players to do so.
Valiant is top tier in progression and should get substantially better rewards than the other tiers as this is the incentive for people to advance.
Maybe kabam has issues balancing the game with all the tiers, and maybe that applies to being able to separate rewards appropriately in these type of events.
If this is the case then they should do away with progression levels altogether ,..because it’s not only obvious in this banquet event but many prior events that they have not been able to get this balance right to be able to please the masses

Their grouping of several bracket levels in an event such as this is fundamentally flawed,..and this has been the case time and time again.

Last year it was Cavs, everyone complained, Kabam said it's their mistake and next year it'll be different, everyone happy.

Next year comes, now it's TBs

Kabam's kink to bundle up players together is nothing but lazy and pointless.

TBs should be paired with Cavs, there's no way in hell that guy who beat Grandmaster once gets to open sams stuff with guys who 100% Necro when it came out.

It's like Kabam don't even know or care about the progression milestones they themselves have built.

To me it seemed like the over abundance of R2 7* mats available in the crystals with a much higher drop rate then the R3 7* mats had a target in mind.
Thronebreaker.
…to limit them to R2’s ( which is great for them )
Problem is most Valiant players have an abundance of R2 mat’s and are looking for R3 ones.
So that leaves Valiants,..the ones that pushed themselves to get the ranking…out in the cold.
That is how that grouping for a crystal doesn’t work,..SBC’s should have been available to Valiant and maybe Paragon,..but that’s it.

I entirely agree, except Paragon should 100% have access to it as well, because Paragons are trying to get Valiant, and banquet would be useless to all Paragons otherwise.

When myself and others were Paragon, we did what we needed to do to become Valiant..like Act 8.3 and Necro. There were players who had become Valiant already, and yet no Valiant rewards were offered to us who were still Paragon.

If someone is Paragon, and are trying to get Valiant, and haven't done 8.3 or Necropolis yet, then that's what they need to do.

The point is, they need to do the content that gets them the Valiant progression title, and get the Valiant rewards that way. Period. If Crucible is a better option, then so be it.

100%. It's ridiculous that my paragon alt gets the exact same rewards as I am.
This event is great for progressing players (TB, Paragon, new Valiants), but for end game players it's nothing ground breaking.

Variants should have their own crystals, otherwise like you said, what's the point besides a slightly better BG store?

I totally agree! There should be a distinction of rewards between each progression, or else, there's no point in progressing to the next progression title if we're all just going to be getting the same rewards.

TB players shouldn't even be in the same sentence when it comes to rewards as valiant players. Cavs and TB should have been in their own rewards bracket. Paragon and Valiant should have the highest teir rewards when it comes to events like this. End game players should not be given a 31% chance at t6 frags from SBC. Should have been at least 1500 7* shards

This event makes me despise TBs, they won't spend a few units to progress but they will spend thousands on Banquet...
They shouldn't even be catered to, it should be considered a transition level.

Funny thing.. there was this thing going around about Kabam winning an award for best community, with this **** event and their "reasoning" for it, they managed to divide it themselves. Sure some will blame it on people like me for speaking the truth or expressing my feelings; but I don't play this game so others get rewarded. I don't spend my time and money to share the pool with people who don't care about progressing.

The only solution for this is making the rewards be selectors

like in the double track

say if the 31% drop rate t6cc in the SBC was a selector

giving

TBs 10%
Paragons 15%
Valiants 25%

and same for 7* shards titan shards and every other reward

that would make me feel it was worth pushing for Valiant

also it would encourage these entitled TBs to actually progress if they want those rewards else be stuck with crappy rewards

It wouldn't be bad if the rewards were actually targeted towards valiant players. I give 2 Efs if a lower level player makes huge gains during this event. That's what it used to be.

I agreed. Valiants need better upgrade items. They are also faced the hardest contents now, such as Side Quests..Almost angry players are Valiant, so they need to be care.

I also wonder why removed lower items from BattleGround Store that they atre still using to upgrade lower champions, but adding them to unit store.

if you (Kabam) dont care them, they one by one will leave the game soon. I can feel from youtube's comments, here(this forum) ... They can quit this game soon.

Not only because of This baquet event that maked them angry, but prevoius careless actions/decisions have also accumulated those angriness.

The contents become more and more too hard, but less upgrade items. Feel sorry for valliants including me.

Idk why thronebreakers are even paired with valiants. Idk why 7*s are handed out to them like crazy. They absolutely doesn't need 7* isophyne for defeating gm. And now they're getting r3 materials like me.

Paragons shouldn't be clubbed with variants still. Past year very few summoners were valiant so for a long time paragones are clubbed with valiants. Nowadays it is easy yo become valiant, so let them become valiant and have their prize.

I'm pretty sure paragon and valiant players are the biggest spenders. They should get their own tiers.

Even paragons shouldn't be clubbed with TBs. It's a disgrace. TB should be clubbed with cavs paragons and valiants should have their own tier. SAY IT LOUD. Refuse to spend in this game until kabam make different tiers for different progression. We had the same issue in cyber and july deals as well.

Exactly. You don't need banquet to progress. They should stop trying to use banquet to force players to progress and give bad players insanely good rewards, and give good players meh rewards because there is nowhere to progress to. Instead, they should be saying that cavs get what cavs should have, tb should get what tb should have, paragon should maybe have early Valiant stuff, and Valiant should be getting rewards looking similar to content that lots of valiants have done, e.g necro, crucible, those are the types of rewards we should be getting

As a valiant, I play this game casually, what's the point of chasing for Celestial 1 when the battlegrounds rewards are bad
If I don't care about battlegrounds, I don't need to chase after seasonal meta champions
My champions are stronger than the paragons and thronebreakers I meet in battlegrounds
I can just stay in VC for as long as I want and get matched with thronebreakers and paragons

I would just say play the game as it suits you.
As a valiant or a paragon or thronebreaker the deals and rewards apart from the realm event are different and according to progression. Even the recent 10x10 drop the higher variants got 7 stars while others got a 6*. Some people like to take it slow when it comes to progression or not motivated enough, that's their outlook.
If for the Banquet realm event the valiants felt that the awards are not commensurate to their progression level, just don't spend the units and that will let Kabam know the mindset. But you cannot say that people who have been grinding for a year or spent money to buy units should get a different reward, because everyone is working towards the same end goal. Remember, there are whales who contribute a major portion of the kitty.
That's like saying because you are a CEO and the other person is a salesman, he shouldn't be allowed to buy the same car that you have in spite of having the money saved up.
And it's just one event, and it's a game.. Not happy? don't play, don't spend, Kabam will know the general concencus..

I'll even go a mile further, don't group paragon with valiant.
I'm sorry but there's so much difference between a paragon and an endgame player.
And by doing so, you'll push people to work towards the highest progression title. Give them something to work towards to. Give them a goal. Give us a sentiment of achievement when we reach the latest title. Cause as of right now, I'm sorry, but there's no reason to be valiant. We don't get anything special.

honestly i feel like the problem started because Thronebreakers were included as well, that made kabam put a lot less emphasis on the T4A. T5CC and ridiculously low amount of T6CC fragments really just sullied the crystals. The T6B and T3A were either not needed or they had to be at least fully formed imo, no fragment bs. And needed to be way more T4A than there is.
