Getting concerned about the realm points...

gannicus0830gannicus0830 Member Posts: 675 ★★★★
I have enough points/contribution to claim every milestone and Isophyne, plus a couple beyond, but the realm points growth started to really slow down once everyone started to realize what a waste of units the SBCs are. If I spent 15k units to hit all the milestones just to not get what I spent them for, it's going to make an already regretful event feel like even more of a waste.
Why can't those of us who hit the point contribution claim The milestone rewards?
These realm events are a flawed mess.

Maybe the stark foundation will contribute in Christmas or the Christmas deals will help

    @kabam_Crashed ,
Any input on this concern? I'm certain I'm not alone in this one...

Yesterday we were 59% of the way to Isophyne. Right now we’re 69%. Still 11+ days left. We’ll make it with plenty of time to spare.

Only if people are spending money on SBCs, and with the whole community now aware of the horrible drop rates, I predict that's going to die down pretty quick...

No one forced you to go all in on the first day, you could've waited till the end if you're so worried. Realm event was looked at as bonus anyways, as there was no guarantee every milestone would be met. Either way you're jumping to conclusions way too fast

Exactly. I put up enough to reach the 7* ag crystal & if looks like we'll hit rest, I'll put up required points. Sounds like buyers remorse...

A lot of people set fire to units this banquet unfortunately. I will say, based on how Kabam is reacting, the one thing they won’t let fail is the realm event. That’s where their money makers exist.

Just wait... in my ally we have 5-6 new people that will hit their 14 days shortly and then they will start buying and opening the SBC and contributing points. They points will start moving again. We still have 11-12 days left.

Trust me, kabam won’t let us not hit it, they got so much backlash recently that if they don’t, I think they might lose all their players

Another "help" to get to top rewards for a realm event is clear evidence that realm events are not tuned with realistic numbers and they are a complete failure...
I gotta say. You have been 100% right about realm events from the start.

I have 0 faith the game team can ever replicate the Road to Necropolis as once again we are trapped in a realm event where they stole from the end game rewards budget from other areas of the event in an effort to give lower accounts resources they don’t need. I hope this is the one that convinces them to stop.

I think this event has polarized the player base into two camps: those who are all-in, competing aggressively for the unprecedented R4 ranked rewards, and those who are not heavily invested, focusing on just the milestones or opting out.

Owning the first-ever R4s will ensure unmatched visibility and influence, whether they're YouTubers looking to create content or just regular players looking for attention.

I think this explains the discrepancy in community resentment and how fast we're flying toward the milestones. The rank tiers are going to be really skewed, you can end up in the top 10% while spending only 0.001% of the total, because it will be so top-heavy....

No, the resentment is from all the milestones.
    25th Milestone R1-R2 gem + the buff 7* Nexus crystal. Value of a R1-R2 crystal for me? 3/10, For a Paragon? Probably 6 or 7 out of 10...For a TB 10/10...
Whales will be whales if you are not one you won't be competing regardless.

Big spenders day one for sure.

YouTubers are obviously day one because they need their videos.

Then, everyone craps on the event and the little guys hold back.

Very interested to see what happens.

I said it from day one, You can't put all progression levels to work on a single goal and expect everyone to be happy and pull in the same weight and pat themselves in the back
There is a reason why communism never worked....
Trying to force the idea of community being rewarded in a heavily monetized game is the stupidest thing I have ever seen.
    Completely agree.

And that’s why Road to the Necropolis worked while these others fail. There was natural gatekeeping in the participants based on access to the necropolis. This let Kabam tune the event in such away where fun add ons were handed out in a way that wasn’t game breaking to get or not get. But you’ve said as much if I recall.

This larger scale push keeps taking from the endgame budget and it’s painfully obvious regardless of what we are told, I’m an effort to let UC players have access to 7star R3s they have no use for? Like why and how is this not game breaking in the early game? Do we really need more people who waffle at every skill based challenge? And how is it fair and balanced to keep putting the endgame community in a position where we have to carry 80+% of the load to get the rewards that should have been available to us to begin with.
If they really wanna be nice about Realm events, why not make an Arena Grind realm event?..
Put this rewards.. see lower progression and f2p players smash it and give whales and spenders a break... Of course that would never happen...

You think that R4 is the target... Its the target for 1% of the players (Whales)... There is a lot more pissed off people than 1%. That's why I said whales will be whales.
You talked about community resentment I gave you my reason. I resent sharing rewards with lower progression level players, and the fact that they limit my rewards. I get a 3/10 graded reward while they get a 10/10.

You're spot on - the only realm event that has worked so far is Road to the Necropolis and that was mainly due to the gate keeping of entry to it (and the fact that revive farming was still a thing).

These make little sense - you cant give the same rewards to so many progression levels without either watering it down too much for the top, or boosting it up too much for the bottom.

The way this event has been trashed on YouTube, in this forum and on reddit.

All of you saying "you shouldn't have gone all in".....
    Need I remind you;
Kabam: "we've intentionally put all the desired rewards in the milestones and not in the SBCs"....

Hence, the reason so many of us went all-in on the milestone points.
