12.0 was needed I agree, but sucked for us that only just pulled some of the pre 12.0 meta champs

Fair enough, I guess in the grand scheme of things one can consider it that bad. I personally just think the event was simply meh, not really good but I still got numerous things from it.

Search on yr but basically this.

Before 12.0, all buffs and debuffs had flat value. For example, let's say a champ has 2000 base armor and you inflict 2 40% armor breaks.

With current game logic the first armor break reduces 40% of 2000, that is 800 armor. So the current armor is 1200, and the second armor break will reduce 40% from this value of 1200 instead of original 2000. But before 12.0 these changes were flat, ie, inflicting 5 40% armor will reduce your armor by 200%, and takes you armor all the way to -2000.

So this allowed 4* thor to party twice and deal 40k heavies (imagine). Similarly this allowed scarlet witch to stun on almost every hit and stun lock forever with her monstrous crit rating, and dr strange was able to heal like life transfer node.
