Calling for a boycott !!!

When hard working people ( delivery guys, doctors, policemen, soldiers, fast food employees, etc... ) find 20 minutes in between deliveries, saving lives, getting shoot at to log in and grind for units and all they get is 1% chance for a 6* Awakening gem in the greater banquet crystals is just baffling. Players are simply NOT rewarded for the time and dedication they invest. I play for 10 years. I found time for this game when i was on deployment in Kazahstan to farm units. From a bit over 5K all i got is enough 6 * shards for 2 6* crytals... The rest were fillers... The other crystals i got were from the milestones... Didnt pull anything from that either but thats not an issue... The issue is that after 365 days of farming players get 1% chance to pull a 6* Awakening gem for example...
I personally had enough and im not willing to spend more of my time and energy. Me and the grand majority of the players are being disrespected after we put food on Kabams table.

The alliance rewards were one third of what was available to players, alongside the solo event rewards and the Realm rewards (and the crystals themselves, of course).

Whether they were fully formed, or various amounts of fragments etc - absolutely everything in those crystals are required for 7* champions.

So I'm really confused as to why people keep referring to "filler".

Not sure if you’re blind or impaired somehow. Unless you are new to this game, you should already have excess amount of these already. Daily crystals, super event, bgs store, etc. All should give you those at a fraction of the cost. That’s what filler means. If you can get t5cc elsewhere much cheaper, then for 300 credits, it’s a filler.

Been playing for 10 years, and do not have any sort of excessive excess amount of those items - certainly none in overflow. That's with 87 7*, 14 of which being R3.

Perhaps our definitions differ - "filler" to me is something of little to no value. And as I said, everything in those crystals has value to any player with a 7* focus.

This is the part I'm struggling with given the resource cost of ranking up a 7* to rank 2.

It takes 4 x T6C, 7 x T6B, 7 x T3A and 4 x T5C. Let's look at the costs involved as everyone keeps saying that BG store and Glory store represent better value for these items.

BG Store first.

4 x T6C would cost a Valiant 38,400 trophy tokens to purchase 12 x 25% T6C frag selectors (and you'd have to wait for a couple of refreshes).

7 x T6B and 7 x T3A cost 14,000 trophy tokens each, or 28,000 combined.

4 x T5C cost 5,000 trophy tokens.

So the total trophy tokens needed to rank up a single 7* to rank 2 is 71,400.

Glory store next.

4 x T5C are 2,580 glory.
7 x T6B would be 4,050 glory.
7 x T3A would also be 4,050 glory.
4 x T6C would cost 25,200 glory (10 x 5% selectors and you've have to wait a full month for the refreshes).

So the total glory needed to rank uo a single 7* to rank 2 is 35,880.

This all seems quite high but I imagine that it gets worse because, allegedly, most valiants who comment on this say that they're only buying T4A with these 2 currencies. Pray tell, how are they doing that and ending up with the above catalysts in over flow if they're relying on BG and Glory store alone?

Someone also mentioned daily super event- again going with Valiant, how many days does it take to acquire the resources just to rank 2 a 7*? More than I can be bothered to work out right now!!!

Personally, and this is my opinion only, I am over the moon to have so many T6B and T3A in overflow- for full discretion, it's 30 of each, and as I have at least 13 7* I want to rank 2 right now, it's still not enough!

But everyone's entitled to their own view on what's considered good or not.

I think there are legitimate frustrations to be had with this event, but from your description of things, it sounds as if you haven't taken the steps to ensure that you get the best possible rewards. I get wanting to be in your own alliance with just your own accounts - that's something I was thinking of doing a while back as well - but then you have to accept that it'll cut off a significant part of the rewards that are available to you. The alliance rewards were one third of what was available to players, alongside the solo event rewards and the Realm rewards (and the crystals themselves, of course).

Likewise, after ten years of playing this game, you haven't progressed to Thronebreaker yet. I'm not judging - it took ages for me to get there as well and I'm generally a big proponent of just staying where you're comfortable and not stressing too much about hunting the latest progression tier - but you got to understand that it's on you to progress to a point where you can get the rewards you want. The difference between your situation and that of Thronebreaker+ players, is that there is no way for Thronebreaker+ players to increase their rewards. For you, there was. In several ways. However, you didn't take the necessary steps to get there, and it's not Kabam's fault that you didn't get there.

I'm not trying to dunk on you, just explain that there are ways to improve the rewards you're getting (in general in the game; perhaps not now, for this specific event). If you'd like to get better rewards, there are steps to take that will ensure that you get them.
Luck and drop rates has nothing to do with preparation... Did you seen the infamous video on Youtube where the guy spends 70K Units and he does NOT get anything except fillers ??? Thats a problem. I'm Valiant, spent enough units on SBC to hit all Realm Event milestones, and absolutely everything I got can be used on 7* champions - T6B / T7B / T4A / T3A / T6CC / T5CC / 7* Shards / Titan Shards. Whether they were fully formed, or various amounts of fragments etc - absolutely everything in those crystals are required for 7* champions.

So I'm really confused as to why people keep referring to "filler".
This is the part I'm struggling with given the resource cost of ranking up a 7* to rank 2.

It takes 4 x T6C, 7 x T6B, 7 x T3A and 4 x T5C. Let's look at the costs involved as everyone keeps saying that BG store and Glory store represent better value for these items.

BG Store first.

4 x T6C would cost a Valiant 38,400 trophy tokens to purchase 12 x 25% T6C frag selectors (and you'd have to wait for a couple of refreshes).

7 x T6B and 7 x T3A cost 14,000 trophy tokens each, or 28,000 combined.

4 x T5C cost 5,000 trophy tokens.

So the total trophy tokens needed to rank up a single 7* to rank 2 is 71,400.

Glory store next.

4 x T5C are 2,580 glory.
7 x T6B would be 4,050 glory.
7 x T3A would also be 4,050 glory.
4 x T6C would cost 25,200 glory (10 x 5% selectors and you've have to wait a full month for the refreshes).

So the total glory needed to rank uo a single 7* to rank 2 is 35,880.

This all seems quite high but I imagine that it gets worse because, allegedly, most valiants who comment on this say that they're only buying T4A with these 2 currencies. Pray tell, how are they doing that and ending up with the above catalysts in over flow if they're relying on BG and Glory store alone?

Someone also mentioned daily super event- again going with Valiant, how many days does it take to acquire the resources just to rank 2 a 7*? More than I can be bothered to work out right now!!!

Personally, and this is my opinion only, I am over the moon to have so many T6B and T3A in overflow- for full discretion, it's 30 of each, and as I have at least 13 7* I want to rank 2 right now, it's still not enough!

But everyone's entitled to their own view on what's considered good or not.

It always helps the reader to appreciate a view or opinion when its substantiated with facts and figures, not just emotions and feelings.

I’m not agree to making a boycott. It’s a event that you are free to decide to spend units or not. Very simple. If you don’t like the crystals just don’t spend units and keep it for other events or Carina challenges.
False advertisement doesn’t count for an event. We were told this banquet was going to be big, people worked their ass to grind units, many people spent money to get tickets for banquet, then this was the result. Is it too difficult to grasp this? Many people agree this event is coal. You guys continue your priceless whiteknighting.

You forgot that players can combine multiple of these options you listed like the BG store, glory store, daily super event, daily valiant crystal, free track etc. to get the needed resources. Saying it costs 71,400 BG tokens (or your equivalent glory tokens) to r2 a 7* star is naïve fallacy because it doesn't account for all the other free possibilities to get the needed resources.

They provided numerous numbers from numerous areas of the game - combine them as you wish.

The fact is, its still going to take considerable in game currencies, and considerable time to achieve what the banquet can achieve in 2 weeks.
