They "hyped up twitch drops"... They didn't. They ran a test to see how they could work.
They hyped up banquet crystals blah, blah, blah. They didn't. Kabam doesn't think 7* rank up mats are filler.
But imagine the irony that you want rank up gems but complained about getting 2-3 rank up mats in crystals. That screams.... I hate tomatoes but I love tomato sauce!

Did you get something good out of your crystals? I got less than half of a t4 alpha. How is that even close to a rank 3?

Anytime the community has these prediction threads, it's hyping yourself up. It's you putting unreal expectations on these things. In your mind, what you say here is now what you hope to get. That's hyping yourself up. When you open the gift and it's not that, then you're disappointed and y'all flock here to the forums to express your disappointment that Kabam didn't give you want you thought they should have.
I got mixed results. I left my feedback that shards should have been higher drop rates. I must be on a island alone because I needed all the cats I got because I'm already out. Maybe y'all don't rank up champs or something but i put everything to use.
If we don't get to the AG in the event, I'll be more upset. That should have been down about 12 less ranks.

Fair point. I know I will most likely be disappointed when the gift drops, but at least I can hope for the best.
I’ve been trying to rank 3 mister sinister for ages. I have overflow of everything except the t4 alpha. Maybe I’ll get him ranked up next year lol
See that's my exact point. Y'all trashing the banquet crystals but they have them in there and at a pretty good rate, also how do you not have them in overflow from the milestones?
I’ve only got 3k units, so I can’t get very high in the milestones.

This wasn’t supposed to be a thread complaining about them. I was able to open 30 something crystals and I spent 3k units. Half of a t4 alpha should not cost 3k units. Are you a whale because I’m ftp and I don’t have a ton of units to throw around like you seem to?
The gift will contain happiness for some and disappointment for others. No matter how good it is, someone will complain.
Nah this is their only saving grace for this entire event if they mess this up and it’s not something worthwhile we riot and we should. This has been levels worse than cyber weekend and this was marketed as “The Grand Banquet”… they’ve been hyping it up since September and it’s been nothing but disappointing for a lot of people.
If that happens I don’t think there will be another year of MCOC. I completely agree with you though.
Kabam needs to take a page from national lampoons Christmas vacation. Pulling the bonus and making it something trash(in this case the grand banquet) is not cool. We called them out for it, so hopefully they will give us a 20% raise in the Christmas gift.

Funny thing is it's like apple every year, they say best iPhone yet rather than it's the best phone because others have better features.
This year Kabam have said most generous holiday gift yet. So there may be other gifts they have given which are better that we're not given during the holiday time. Also one duel credit on top of what they gave last year would also qualify as the most generous holiday gift yet.
I think they need to work on their hype levels a bit like when they said amount of filler was going to be reduced in the SBCs...

I don’t think Kabam can keep up with their economy. They don’t view t5 and t6 as filler even though it is since the economy has grown so quickly.
