ROL Wolverine

I've gotten to the Wolverine in ROL, and I took Guilly in for the heal reversal. By the time I get to use my second L2, I've run out of souls and cannot reverse it anymore. Does anyone have any advice on how to beat him. (I don't have any points in mystic dispersion)

MD is a good start. If you are willing to restart the run, you can also bring a Morningstar for the synergy to extend the duration of Guilly's charges.

If you don't want to restart, you have to fight insanely aggressively. Pin him against the wall and just parry-combo until you get the SP2, then fire it off. When I did it, I only used a 20% revive and went flat-out through the heal reversal then would purposefully die if I didn't have the charges to re-do the SP2.

When I say parry-combo, I'm talking the up close parry after the last hit. Hit-hit-hit-hit-hit-parry, repeat. If he fires a special, evade and dash into the attack as soon as he's done. You don't have enough time to dance around.

If you have, you can try another heal block / reversal champion like doctor octopus.

Also with Guilly, besides adding MD, wait until you are close to sp3 to fire off SP2 so you don't have as long to charge it back up. That's a fickle fight with her timing.

After you have used your first sp2 you have to fight aggressively so wolvie keeps getting regens. If you do this you will have enough souls by the time you reach sp2 again.

Just do what I did...beat him with a 3 star Doctor Strange.

I don't think you should wait until you're almost at your sp3. Do it as soon as you get to sp2. The reason why the souls often don't last is because Wolverine's regen kicks in too fast, and you aren't taking the health off of him quickly enough, if at all. So the goal is to use your sp2 as fast as you can. For that reason, I say get MD if you can (I think mine was 3 when I did it, though I'm not certain. It may have been 4).

You kind of have to get lucky with the timing. I was lucky enough to get it done my first time and it took 27 hits. So it does work, but that was with MD and getting those sp2s off as quickly as you can.

If you are using a heal block option, Yondu is another option. I think he's better than CW, simply because he can do more damage. CW's sp1 causes almost no damage, unfortunately, but Yondu can stack a bunch of bleeds and heal block.

Guilly still a faster/better option, but I think Yondu might be the next best.

SL can beat him if you don't get hit. It's a long fight though. I beat him with my 3* SL 1511-0 although to be fair that was with a block team.

Another option is AA. If he's awakened, his neurotoxins block regen. Just spam his heavy attack.

Thanks to everyone who helped! I was able to get him down with 10ish revives, just had to wait for the luck to line up.
