  Why would they announce 8 star. They introduced r3 last year around November/December time. They won’t introduce r5 till next December most likely, maybe the year after even and when they do, we still have r6 to wait for.

  9.2 is released mid February, includes a titan nexus and a whole t7b, exploration rewards include another t7b, meaning you can now get a r4 by completing necro challenges and fully exploring 9.2, this chapter won’t have a new progress title, just a new rank, I predict the lizard will be added, and will be the goat of the science class. He will be a utility goat, and damage goat, we will also see a very difficult defender be released, on par to serpent, this defender will make a appearance in sos, these are first 6 month predictions, second half of the year we will see 9.3 beta, the beta is horrible and people hate it, so they delay 9.3 by 6 months, it’s also full of glitches. We will see a new Everest content, that contains maestro as the final boss, this Everest provides superior kang as a playable character, the banquet of this year is actually really really good, contrasting the horrible cyber weekend deals we had. Circling back bc I forgot, j4 will provide many people will their first or second r4.
  
  
  Also, 9.3 has a new progression title attached to it, that requires 3 r4 7*, the 9.3 boss is very difficult, and many people struggle with the fight, even the biggest whales struggle. Those are my predictions, overall, it will be a good year.
