6* vs 7* The Serpent

So I finally got my 6* Serpent yesterday and today I pulled a 7 star, WOW.
And now I am confused which version to rank up, 6* or 7*,
See, I can awaken 6*, give him a lot of sigs, ascend him and take him to rank 4 or 5 and get the most out of him in the BGs. On the other hand, 7* serpent is unawakened and that death immunity & power gain are the main features of him.

Btw I got fully maxed 5* and it still wins in BG most of the time.

    Regardless of if you have a maxed 6* serpent or 7* serpent, he’ll get banned the majority of the time anyways. Upgrade the 7* cause he’s better on attack and will be better in the future when we have higher ranked 7*s.

    This would be tougher if your 6 was already maxed out. Then you'd probably want to hold off on ranking up the 7.

    But since your 6 isn't too invested yet, use the resources on 7 Serpent and a 6 that's not available as a 7, or at least that you don't have as a 7.

    7*. You'll either naturally awaken him, or eventually get an awakening gem for him.

    There's no point to ranking the 6* when you have both r1 at this point.

    Until he's duped he obviously won't be nearly as good as a defender, but eventually when you do awaken him you'll be glad you didn't invest in the 6*.

    Before ppl took the risk with Serpent when he was unduped, and now I managed to dupe him, oh boy he hasn’t seen the light of day in Battlegrounds since, nobody takes the chance.
