I spent a little and used up units from the Cyber cash deals and I got a little lucky on a couple pulls getting the limited edition selector and Jessica Jones. Nonetheless, the SBC crystals were mostly a bummer. I think the biggest problem was the stinginess on 7-star crystals and Titans. This was slightly corrected with the minor realms buff but it really needs to be extended through further milestones and should include at least a full Titan at some point (maybe even a Titan nexus). I’ve opened about 100 crystals and there is no motivation to go further as I have no chance of getting one of the whale ranked rewards. Kabam, if you want me to open my wallet again, you should buff the rewards for the remaining realm milestones and add some additional ones.
In 30 minutes of playing raids, I got more than 40 banquet crystals for opening. An excellent banquet failure.

Same here, pretty much 100%. I'm Paragon too and likewise only got minimal t4a from my SBCs. I'm glad that Valiants got a good deal in their Christmas gifts and there should be a difference in rewards, but it was a pretty big jump down to Paragon. It wouldn't have hurt to throw in 10 7* Sig stones or a chunk of t4a shards.
But that's distracting from the banquet. Let's see what happens when Kabam get back to work after the Christmas break. If the banquet isn't going too well we might get a Stark Foundation intervention. We'll see.
Until this is properly addressed by the game team, I’m changing my previous 5 star review on App Store to a 1* and including the reasons mentioned in this thread. Also have stopped spending and don’t plan to spend more for a long time (have normally been getting max spending rewards, evidenced by my 7R3 awakened moleman, 7* Deadpool, and 7* WX). Between the awful crystals (and that’s being kind) and the terrible unit deals (arguably the worst deals we’ve had all year in terms of bonuses for buying units), this event was a failure. I urge everyone else who agrees with this sentiment to stop spending and change your review/leave a review (and obviously if they do fix this somehow, edit your review, as this is to get their attention since they clearly don’t care how many people have been affected by this).
Possibly easiest think to do now would be to juice up the solo and alliance rank rewards for all brackets by throwing in more 7* and titan shards so that everyone that spent can get a return commiserate to the amount they spent, idk just an idea, I also think the guys that bought the unit offers early and missed out on keys should definitely get the extras added to their account as that was a pretty low blow. I think it’s a real pity for Kabam as the Xmas freebies and even milestone rewards for events have been generous I just don’t think they foresaw how disappointing it would be for people buying and opening these crystals even thought there have been complaints in previous years regarding the amount of filler in them. Unfortunately this has now completely overshadowed everything else. ☹️☹️
This event is not about what you get from the SBC openings. This is about getting the guaranteed rewards in the solo, alliance and realm events. Buying SBC's is the only way to get that. You can not even open them. 9 7* crystals, one nexus, 3 gifted guardians, 7* AG, 2 r3s, sig stones, tons of catalysts, isophene dupe. Thats good value for 15k units. Anything you get from SBC is a bonus. You might hit a jackpot, but thats not the goal. Understand that and you'll be a lot happier
Will Kabam fix the last 4 milestones in the banquet event? A paltry 1k titan shards for putting up that many points seems trivial.

That's kind of the same line of thinking I assume. Those Milestones are meant to be a bonus to the bonus, so-to-speak.
It’s more, and we see this throughout other aspects of the game, the game economy has progressed to a point where 1k Titan shards, even as a bonus isn’t as meaningful as it was a year ago. 5k would’ve made it more relevant.
I say this not really caring though as it’s in the realm event, which has end game rewards in it which I’m sure hurt the SBC reward budget and ruined the event for players that enjoy opening gifting/banquet crystals. That’s the thing about this that I feel was not addressed appropriately from the last realm event. Because the actions here do not match what we were told on stream, and the follow up communication seems to confirm the team flip flopped and the realm event milestones impacted the reward budget

So many hours to grind so many units. Not doing it again.
And to add to this, I 100% regret partaking in this.. and spends my a single unit on this. Straight robbery of resources. And after talking all that on your livestream in December??? You can’t fake the enthusiasm, nor the disappointment.

Yep, this feels pretty sh*tty, like I got swindled. I bought all 4 banquet crystal deals, at the time it seemed like a fair deal with everything you got, until this morning when I saw the new banquet deal:/
I just want them to come out and address what obviously intentional misdirection with that “50% filler” nonsense.
The obvious implication of their statement was that 50% of the time you should be pulling non filler not that the literal number of filler items is equal to the nonfiller but that those items accounted for 80% of the chance. T6B ALONE is 30% of the crystal and these things are 300 a pop
Ridiculously underhanded to utter those words. Haven’t seen such intentionally dishonest marketing since the Deathless guillotine kit was said to be as different as Weapon X and G2099 were from their originals
I find it odd Kabam decided to release deals for the banquet days after the banquet started. Many people purchased regular odins to open banquet crystals and hit milestones just to be blindsided by these deals no one knew about randomly being dropped.
This has been already said in various capacities.. but I figured I’ll provide a TLDR for any Kabam employee scrolling thru..
Between the Valiant daily crystals and the Daily Super Event the SBCs are very similar to the GBC — except in this instance the G stands for Garbage.
Thinking that providing 10% of a T6CC or half a T6BC or T3A when we can effectively get them whenever we want with Glory or Battleground tokens is anything but filler is a gross oversight and shows a complete disconnect between what the community wants.
I personally have terrible luck and gave you guys the benefit of the doubt (as I’m sure many people have done) and opened enough crystals to at least hit all the milestones before evaluating and I’m sorely disappointed.
The unit offers seems to be the final straw that broke the camel’s back; while it is true that you typically have special unit offers in December, but you can understand why people would think the special bundle with the SBCs might be it, especially when there was no communication regarding any such deals.
The holiday gift while nice, given everything discussed above seems more like compensation than the gift it’s meant to be.
The solo ranked rewards are great but it's only for megawhale, the other other good value of the event is to open just one cristal, A ton of players are just sitting on 5k 10k units that they don't have to spend for objectively bad cristals and unreacheable milestones of " realm" event. Very odd to have value on an event only if you don't really participante, especially a celebrating ten year one🤷
We just wanted to take a moment and address some of the concerns around our Banquet event this year as we see some of you are disappointed with the Superior Banquet Crystals in particular.
We wanted to move more of the rewards to the milestones, while keeping 7-star relevant rewards in the crystals as you build up your tracks in the various milestones between solo and alliance-based events. Our intention was to improve the experience over last year's event, and feel we have succeeded in that goal.
That being said, we want to make sure the game team sees and hears you, so please leave your constructive feedback on what you’d like to see changed.
It has been absolutely amazing so far I'm a cavalier player and I got 5 new 7* and 4 6* on rank 4 and pulled Hercules and duped him .
this is why I think we should have milestone rewards based on progression.
