Onslaught vs chee’ilth

Onslaughts parries should trigger a passive stun when chee’ilth purifies it. But it doesn’t. Storm triggers hers just fine. Onslaught just doesn’t for some reason

Onslaught’s anti-purify abilities simply do not work against cleanse, whereas most others do. It’s intended behavior.

I’d like a mod to weigh in. As cleanse is a purify mechanic so there’s really no reason why onslaught’s anti purify shouldn’t work.

Plus it’s really annoying when interactions with varying mechanics aren’t properly specified. If his doesn’t work against cleanse as designed, it should be stated in his abilities, “doesn’t work against cleanse for x champ” or something

It's a difference between what 'Purify ' and 'purify' is .

It's already been confirmed to be how it should work. It was working the other way in one update and it was changed to work as it is working now. So yes.

It is very simple, maybe kabam will come out with a champ immune to cleanse, meaning his debuffs including the parry stun can't be cleansed by opponents.

I know cleanse basically does the same as purify or shrug off. But think about this for a sec. Some champs are immune to nullify, but you still can stagger them. Nullify and stagger do the same function but they are immune to some actions, but not the other. Thats why they have so many terms in this game. I can be overwhelming at times to keep up with all this.

Leader's debuffs cannon be cleansed. It's funny we got a science champ counter cleanse directly before a mutant does.

We've already been through this with Apoc and Jabari

My initial issue was more so that storm and bishop could trigger their passive stuns against cleanse unlike onslaught despite having similar wording
