Level 61?

Beyond moronic that unless you're VALIANT, you can't progress your XP level past 60???? The game has tons of good players that are not valiant, or even paragon, that have spent years playing the game, investing money when applicable, only to be capped by an artificial, greedy KABAM.

The new lvl cap is supposed to be a push for end game players, and tbh if you’ve been playing for a long time and aren’t valiant at this point than you’re not in the target group for the lvl cap content

If you’re a spender, then you would easily have gotten enough r3 material to get valiant this banquet.

If you’re spending 12-15k units then you would have at least had enough to spend on crucible for a r3. Which would let you choose between exploring act 8 or act 9.1. If your a long time player, then surely you could have done these by now.

It took me 6 months to complete Act 6. I finished Act 7 and 8 in 2 weeks. So for me, if you make it to Thronebreaker, you can make it to Valiant with very little effort. And if you haven't made it to Thronebreaker, you don't need to worry about Level 61.

There is a tiny subsection of people who are both good at the game, and don't want to progress story mode for one reason or another. Whether that be fear of the GM or that is just not how they have fun in the game, but these people still exist. It isn't a complete oxymoron, but it certainly is an exaggeration on OP's point.

Yup, these players exist and are choosing not to progress. Therefore, they are choosing to forego the perks that come with higher progression (I know you know that Pikolu, just using you as a springboard). OP, if you want the things that come with being Valiant, just become Valiant. We’ve seen talented players hit it in under two weeks from a fresh F2P start, you should be fine.

You guys do have a point. I actually have a couple buddies who to this day haven't progressed and they're at GM.
They don't play much now, but they were there forever and just didn't end up finishing 6.4 GM before they eventually quit playing.
