Anyone else having a hard time picking up the game lately?

Lately once again I'm just logging in, clicking a few buttons, and logging out. I did some thinking and it think these are a few reasons why.

-The banquet let me down and I'm still sour about it.

-Kabams silence when the community is upset. (I find it pretty rude to the community)

-The side quest and it's rewards are lame.

-Event quest are barely worth doing anymore.

-Burnt out on Battle grounds for a few seasons now.

-Carinas Necro... why? Why send us back there when so many didnt like it the 1st time.

- Rebalancing characters that aren't that popular and skipping on some really beloved characters. ( Thor, Dr Strange, Loki, Moon night, and og deadpool. Why re-skin him and buff the other one?)

-Black screen bug is really annoying.

I'm not saying I'm quiting. Im frustrated and not really finding enjoyment in game. I can't wait for the Thanos mission so that I can take a break from the game. Put too much time into the deathless pieces to step away just yet. I miss when this game was at its best. It's definitely not at its worst, but it's not hitting like it once did.

These kind of posts pop up every month, the game starts to feel stale at the end of every month, even with banquet going on.

When new content drops, there’s things to look forward too. The cycle just repeats and for the last week of January it will likely be boring. The game has always felt this way.

It’s also always like this before bgs update, aw, and things like that. Isophyne dupe is coming soon. That’s something I guess. We have banquet solo rewards coming in a week and a half at least as well.

I think this is more than just getting rewards. The dopamine spikes from rewards is still fun. Deciding which champs to take up is a great time. But the actual gameplay hasn't been pulling me in. It's either too easy or so complicated that I have to watch a video on how to do it.

Yeah I resonate with your sentiment, they ring true with how I feel also, so you're not alone!

My baby Groot brother men, yes. I actually took a step back a bit for a month or so and have just gotten back into it, but it wasn’t easy and the hunt for a new symbiote has helped.

Sometimes taking a step back or even a pause from the game is needed in order to enjoy it again. As well as picking and choosing what content you want to do since honestly there feels like an over abundance at the moment

I mentally checked out months ago, basically only logging in to do the bare minimum every day. I just don't feel like I have anything worth working towards; anything I'd like to tackle is just too resource intensive and/or completely out of reach right now.

Well, i dont have the same feeling, really happy with Banquet and milestones.
Did the best choice yesterday spending 2400 units.
Anxious to see how I will progress from now on with many great champs and Hercules 6 stars R5...its like to have a 7 stars R2😎

For me it’s the Carina’s necro coupled with the lazy side quest and EQ being woefully outdated. I get throwing out the carina stuff to keep - to borrow seatin’s line - sweaty summoners engaged. But I for one just don’t like it. I don’t like playing it, I don’t feel like I accomplished anything after but draining my resources. And I seldom have the roster to do the guides until the rewards aren’t worth it. I plan to at the moment to blast through the deathless thing next month but I am not looking forward to it.

So looking around in game… there’s battlegrounds. A mode that has obvious roster ceilings. I can beat my head against a wall for no reason.. or just do objectives and hit GC late anyway. We have autumn of agony - 1 fight .. 3 times… two weeks. Yawn. And there is arena.

It’s really cool watching these YouTube folks blitz stuff with their latest R3, but if anything it just makes me not want to waste my time. We are playing different games… well they are playing the game Kabam keeps pushing. They don’t seem interested in putting out content consistently like crucible or making the monthly events worth doing for folks who aren’t at the top skill level or roster level

EQ ,Sq are constant every month - why are u expecting high reward?

Banquet - still descent value if u combine all 3 solo+alliance+realm milestone

Necro - Odin + wong those 2 challenge u can do them in 20 revives each 🤷

BG node is fun - if u don't play BGs nothing more interesting

I think the game mode have nothing to do with u. Personal stuff maybe making you think this way 🤔
