iso shortage

for the ultra endgame or whales this probably is not a problem but good god it is frustrating when you run out of iso as a f2p.

I recently completed act 8 and wanted to rank up at least 1 seven star to be a little closer to valiant so I can get my holiday gift but oops, no iso

I can't grinds quests cus I have no energy, those iso crystals are so buttcheeks and I'm not grinding arenas to hopefully dupe one 4 star which is like drops of iso comparatively cus 7 stars eat iso like there's no tomorrow.

    Use incursion artifacts to buy 4* crystals and open them. It will give you a lot of iso.

    I Guess you’re out of options if you won’t grind arena and have no energy.

    Buying 4 star crystals with incursions artefacts is really the only other quick way to get iso apart from spending glory on iso.

    Do that shooting star quest on repeat,
    It gives tons of ISO after every finish and is very easy to do these days with lots of options.

    Got a lot of Iso from Banquet and everyday i choose the iso from Rank Up free item instead of gold.

    So I could upgrade Hercules to R5, Emma Frost and Hulk Immortal 7

    OP said he wanted to rank a champ to get closer to Valiant. Lol

    But yeah, suggestions here are dead on if you want iso.

    As others have mentioned, the best way would be to use Incursion Artifacts to buy 4-star crystals and get ISO from the dupes. Another alternative would be to play the Shooting Stars quest.

    Now, if you're really desperate, you could do what I did back when I was on my way to becoming Paragon and 4-star crystals were giving me more new champions than dupes: run the Labyrinth.

    If you've already completed RoL, it guarantees 5 dupes of any of those champions, which means 120 L4 bricks of Mutant, Cosmic, or Science ISO. I used to do it with Guillotine 2099 at 7R1, but fighting Maestro with Tech champions is too annoying and RNG-dependent. As soon as I got Kate, I started using her instead.

    If you’re seriously considering this, the path I used to take was (Starlord, Jane Foster, Daredevil, Venompool, Dr. Strange, Kamala, Rocket, Maestro). The only annoying fight on this path was Dr. Strange.

    Probably from the GM Crystals. Since they were buffed, they provide more 4* and 5* champions, which, of course, means more ISO from dupes.

    Yeah if you grind arena even semi regularly it's almost impossible to run out of iso or gold tbh

    as of now I have only 1 rank 2 seven star, so I still need quite a bit of iso 😅

    You should be happy there is an "iso shortage" because if there wasn't one, there would be a "gold shortage"
    Lucky for us there is no shortage at all...

    How do you think the rest of us get ISO? As in, the other 99% that aren't whales or "ultra end game?"

    Quests, crystals, arena. You can also buy ISO with glory but that has escalating costs.

    Part of the game is resource management. You say you don't have energy. We get tons of energy every day for free; plenty of energy to clear a monthly difficulty tier. When did you start farming ISO? The literal day you needed it?

    This is my valiant alt account.

    I Don't have time to do arenas in main account, forget even attempting arenas in alt.
    Only the champs I need are leveled and ranked.
    About 80% of champs are sitting pretty at r1 lvl 1.
    Not more than 6 months ago, this alt account was struggling with gold too. But now it have 65M gold.
    Things will change, keep doing the usual things game wants you to do.
    You are not at that spot when you open a crystal and it's a dupe. But you will reach there. Keep holding on!!!
