I’m about to do Carinas 10 year champion challenge with an Un-Duped Wong, he’s R3. My question is:

I the middle chunk, because he’s unduped should I not take the Apocalypse path or is it not really a deal breaker? Any feed back would be great, I’m really trying to reduce unit spend because I’m not sure how brutal the quest to get D. Thanos will be.

    I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker, but definitely increases the challenge. I’ve heard some people taking the Guardian path with unduped Wong, but I have no experience in that.

    I did my run with a duped r3 Wong, and I took the guardian path. Guardian was a solo (though don't throw your sp3 as it causes the screen to go black on him like when fighting nimrod and spider ham -also, others have had issues with him with other champs on Necro with flaming backgrounds), valk was one team revive and one revive, but those where all spent because I was told Wong wasn't good for her. When I tried Wong again, he solo'd her. Red guardian is also soloable.

    Apoc path won't be too much of a problem as MD will be fueling wongers. You face Cap IW without the nullify anyways even with a duped wong and he still did great there for me.

    It's not really a problem; it just changes how you use SP2.
    • Duped Wong: Dash back > Hold heavy until two bars of power > Use SP2.
    • Unduped Wong: Dash back > Hold heavy until almost two bars of power > Release heavy > Get smacked in the face while unstoppable > Counterpunch > Slow combo > Use SP2.

    It's not a deal breaker,
    I did with r2 unduped.
    Except herc, all solos.

    I must include not all were easy solos.
    Ran out of charges fighting sam and nova. But managed to solo playing around the necrotic boon powergain and unblockable, took 2 more sp2s.

    I have a Rank 2 Vox that I’m bringing. He seems really good for guardian, I have done that path before but I’ve never done Hercules, I hear he’s rough. Do you guys still think that the Apoc path is the way to go?

    Apoc path feels easier.
    Guardian is not the problem, Valk is.
    And the trap node is not ideal. Apoc lane's trap node gives free md.
    Herc is not bad. Does 2-3 revives sounds rough?
    It's hard to solo with the protection, Fight is not bad.

    So knowing that Wong is unduped, it’s still worth it to go center lane, with Apoc?
