Who is your favorite “underrated” champ?

I would go with Luke but he isn’t so underrated anymore. Anti-Venom would be my pick, simple play style, a load of utility and some big damage.

Aarkus and Nova are commonly seen as defenders, but I love using them on attack. Incredibly fun. And Hood is, imo, possibly the best buff control champion in the game since he has both a maintainable fate seal and a frequent stagger. I don’t think anybody thinks Hood is bad, but I do think he’s undervalued.

I'm a massive fan of Arkus, he did brilliantly for me on a few of the act 8 bosses, Glykhan in particular.

Hood is also going to r3 today! Got him at sig 100 and you can just cycle back to back sp2’s with him. It’s kinda insane how much utility and damage he has. Invisibility is one of my favorite abilities

Sandman is crazy underrated. People were excited for his buff but then they changed his heavy proficiency charges from 5 to 8 before the buff went live, and then everyone wrote him off as a bad champ. He’s got so much utility and such a fun playstyle, one of my most used champs.

Destroyer is also underated and considered just an okay defender. But I love using him on attack, Even against non cosmic champs. Also his hinder debuff is very underated.

Taskmaster: our only resident debuff immune champ, coupled with defensive AND offensive AAR, up to 50% perfect block chance, and decent damage in several forms. I think he’s genuinely an Angela-level buff away from being cracked.

Doc Ock: the goat. Specials a problem? Just say no! Champions legally cannot throw a special without your consent. Surprisingly competent damage too; it turns out your damage gets inflated a lot when you don’t ever have to waste time baiting and dexing a special. Otto can clear some bg matches in as little as 35-40 seconds, and 65-70 is about the slowest it gets in matchups that don’t hard counter him in some way.

Agreed on destroyer. I just wish his sp3 energiser and unblock-able lasted as long as the degen.

Serious bleeds, DAAR, Sp 1 counters evade and miss, Sp 2 inflicts critical damage, The Hunt buff lasts for for 9 seconds. During this time, there NOWHERE for the defender to hide lol..not even when they go invisible and untouchable.

I am predicting this right now, for the record:

Awakened Annihilus, especially at high sig, is so underrated, and his kit is SO POWERFUL, it will not be released as a 7-star until the very end of the 7-star release cycle.

I am totally serious. I am not joking.

Believe this or not, but I always say things that can be replicated in the game, if a person chooses to use the kit:

Because of how the Sig Ability for Annihilus works, I once hit a 90K crit — yes, that’s 90,000 — HEAVY ATTACK, with the defender’s back against the wall.

What this kit can do is just…Look at the Khonshu’s Ankh page. See how few Synergies the kit has.

Never been buffed. Hardly ever talked about.

Because SOMEONE at Kabam knows how freaking busted this kit actually is.

The thing about Super-Skrull that isn’t extremely clear is that it almost HAS TO BE at Sig 200. It almost HAS TO BE completely maxed out, to use as an attacker.

Why? Because of how the timing of the Power Gain works.

You need almost all of the power gain in order to proc Nova Fists consistently, as part of the loop. But once you master the timing and understand exactly how to proc Nova Fists, OMG
